haha likewise pippsta, i see u everywhere the most too man...our cars are spritually connected yO:lol:

and that black stivo with decals everywhere is my mates car yO, he bought it off the previous owner who had added those mods (ces catback, trd cai, trd sussy, trd ss and thats bout it as far as mods go)....personally i think the car is a lil over-decaled lol( even the owner thinks that too haha)

oh by the way next time the southside cru should all eat at that sushi place at pinelands sumtime :toast:

the sushi there is fantastic yO :yahoo:

haha, no worries wei wei! I agree the sushi is great there, thats why i'm heading there tonight!!

  3. Have a look at the panel on the side of the centre console and at the base of that panel you should see a small plastic plug. I think there is another one about 20cm above it to. Check them to see if they are fully tight with no movement. If there is a little gap between the plug and the plast panel, jam some paper in or something along those lines to fill it so that the plug won't move at all.

When I was looking for the rattle I pulled open the glove box and cable tied as much as i could and it did nothing. It wasn't until i jammed up that little plastic pop out plug that the noise stopped.

Mine would rattle whenever i was hovering around 2800 - 3000rpm...

  4. red stivo @ pinelands sushi bar carpark last nite

  6. Well, after 800km in my '05 Sportivo, all I can report is a few times when changing 2nd->3rd I've slapped the shifter up into the bit BETWEEN 1st and 3rd. The 'return-to-centre' isn't as quick as my last cars so instead of just pushing up (and letting the shifter move itself inline for 3rd) i have to slow, move across, then up. (if u know what i mean)

    Otherwise, all is well.

Yeah, i have experienced the same thing going from 2nd to 3rd on occassion. Other than that, the shifting between all other gears in high revs is quite smooth...

I agree with Zav though that changing into 1st can be a bit tricky even when the car is almost at a stop...

  7. Hi all,

This is my first post! :D

Gotta say that i'm loving my TRD Suspension! It increased the handling ability and yet didn't sacrifice on ride quality!!

I've ridden in and driven a rolla with Kings and Konis, so i can compare the ride. The Kings and Konis work well if you drive hard most of the time and want to take corners fast, but you sacrifice some ride quality.

The TRD's on the other hand make everything feel a hell of a lot firmer but still feel smooth and comfortable enough for everyday driving.

I'll post some pics of the shocks and springs if anyones interested...
