Just to top everything off, i woke up this morning with a flat tyre.
just came back from the servo, after pumping it. realised there was a pin hole on the side of the tyre.
so that means my whole tyre is wasted.
f##king $ankers!!!!!!!!!
son of #itch knows what they're doing.

Hi guys,
parked the car on a side street, then went to work. Came back with extra 3 long white lines on the side, bonnet , and back of the car.
Wanted to burn the whole #$%ing street down.
Must be from one of those dickheads that thinks they own the car spot outside their house, on the street.
Can't exactly explain how I feel at this moment.
wondering if any of u guys know any good places that can do nice spray paints around the inner west area.

Took my car to the Drag races the other night (Willowbank Raceway)
Ended up doing a 14.8 and 95MPH which i thought was awesome for the 1st time.
i wasnt really intending on running so i hadnt really set the car up for racing (Was running 91ron fuel, being cheap that week) So hopefully with some 98ron and some octane booster maybe a 14.6 or even a .5 which would be awesome out of a completely stock car.
A friend also ran his down aswell and did the same time 14.8 at 95mph and was running 95ron fuel. his was the touring and mine is an atx.
pic of my car at the drags
Good work mate, did u use S mode? which gear did u get up to?

Hi guys,
Just installed a pair of HIDs today. It looks sooo good...............
Fully recommend you guys to install a pair.
Plus they are really cheap these days, around 100 dollars ....
I have always had HIDs in my other car.....they last around yr and a half. For a hundred dollars....not a bad investment.

Lifestyle store at parramatta did my sub and amp.
Are you running it off the stock head unit?
If your running it off an after market one, its pretty straight forward, read up about it, and try to run power down one side of the car, RCA's down the other.
Lifestyle Store North parramatta.
Its at the 'Junction'
Thanks for that. Yeah im trying to run it off the stock head unit.
Did u get a new unit?
Thanks

Hi guys,
Im thinking of installing Amp and Sub into my ZR6. Used to have a tech coming around to do all my car audio work, just found out that he pass away last year in a car accident. :(
I dont really want to have guys from Strathfield Radio or other ppl that i havent had experience with working on the car.
Any tips on DIY ? or any tech that you guys may have used that is worth recommending it to me? ( inner west Sydney)??
Thanks a million.

Hi guys,
Im all enjoying the car apart for its fuel comsumption. Its doing around 13L/100kms, although not as high as some of numbers been mentioned in here, bit its so much higher than 9.9L/100. My ZR6 has less than 2000kms and i have never gotten below 11L/100km, i guess that is because i rarely hit highways.
Just wondering has any body out there reseted the ECU and got an improvement?
Thanks guys
I know it gets a bit long winded but if you read back through all the posts on this thread, other people have had similar or even the opposite problem. One of the members claimed the economy wouldn't get worse than around 8.5L/100Km. Disconnecting the battery for 20 seconds or getting a dealer to reset the system (probably just disconnected the battery for 20 seconds or more <_< ) and the car started giving a more accurate reading.
I think it should improve after your next service because of the grade of oil they apparently use for running the motor in. Even so, this is the exact same problem i've had since buying the car - really bad fuel economy. Hence the post about finally getting the car on the open road and taking a picture of what i thought was a myth.
I have actually changed oil and filer already (toyota stock) that was done last week. So far there isnt any difference in terms of fuel economy.
Let me try and reset the ECU when i get around to it, i will keep u guys posted.
