  1. I'a also like to add my sincere thanks to evryone that took the time to organise such a great cruise, and to all those who took part in making it such a great event

Me personally, I had a ball, catching up with a few known faces and meeting many more

Well done to EVERYone for being smart, playing it safe so everyone got home

    :toast::yahoo:

    ....until the next one..... :D

Very nice, good improvement, well worth the few $ spent

  3. *belated*

spotted and1 and his gorgeous facelift on the way to pick up my mrs to go on holidays

damn i love that car :D

IMO, the only thing he should do is put rims on it.....then it'll be one of the sexiest stivo's in Perth ;)....still is........

    And1.....rims????? :P

  4. ok, I'm oficially puzzled.................not that its hard to do, but thats a whole other story :D

How can Toyota claim the stivo's to have 141kW, but this is a good dyno chart?

Honestly TRDYUS, I'm not having a shot at your car, its a general question.

It also makes me want to put my car on the dyno and find out how mislead I am at present.

    Thanks in advance

    Dave

  5. I was in at one of my local Toyoat dealers this morning, the guy i spoke to seemed to be fairly switched on with regard to the matters I wanted to talk to him about....so, when he mentioned that my '03 sportivo required rotors and pads to be changed everty 40'000kms, it kinda came as a bit of a surprise.

One of the only real complaints I have with my car atm, I put down to the rotors being slightly warped, I could also be wrong in my diagnosis, but it seems to be the only thing I lean toward thinking.

When pulling up from any speed ( 60 - 80 - 110, whatever), if you brake lightly just to slow yourself, the steering wheel shakes quite noticibaly, the more pressure you apply to the pedal, the more the shaking disappears....if you brake hard(ish), theres no shaking at all.

    So, 2 questions remain.

Can anyone either confirm or deny that they know of the whole "south african models use softer rotors and pads"?

    &

Am I looking in the right direction for the cause of the steering wheel shaking when i brake?

    Thanks in advance

    Dave

  6. Hey all

Just thought i'd register after reading a bit of the forum, Ive been looking for a 'rolla forum thats relevant for ages....heh

If Perth members are looking to head out for a cruise, throw a pm my way with the details.

I wouldn't mind seeing what others have done to their cars.

*cant figure out how to resize pic for here* - I'll come back to this later :whistling:
