everyone k i got my 6*9s, and now time to install, i wanna ask do i need to make a new pachel shelf for the back to accomodate the new speakers????

k guys i got a few qeustions to ask. Go here before u proceed

Speakers

1. i bought the 6* 9s and my friend tookt eh subs, do i need an amp for these 6*9s to run good and if yes what kind? money is limited

2. i know i need a new head unit and i heard taht camry's cannot change head unit due to dash board complicatiosn adn bracket. what do i need to do if i get a new head unit because my cousin said its hard to change and costly, "its not a simple screw out and screw in job"

3. what type of headunit should i get with my money limited toa bout 300

Thanks Guys, so i just need to a straight swap over for the 6 by 9 and solder it to the existing cables or should i recable??

right now im using stock Head unit but will by a new one so i can run amps for the 6by9 and some amps for the 6". if anyone find or see a good mp3 or dvd headunit can u let me know. or even a LCD screen with dvd player and head unit let me know.

i need help with this project im planning,

mp3 headunit

set of 6x9 speakers

amp for 6x9

and prob a 12 sub with amp

the help i need is how to install, i dont know what to pull out or unscrew><. so i was hoping if someoen cna help with ripping the dash boards and stuff and btw will a 12 fit on the parchel shelf? or should i stick with a box?

but import is fine, my friend his has a workshop specialise in custom engine parts and he goes to america nad jap alot and sends a ship container full of parts and stuff, so ill jsut give him 100 aussie to throw it in with his stuff

i think they should fit on the 99 camry. i just bought 1 pair from eBay and ive got 1998 camry.

i haven't got it yet, but once ive installed them on the car ill post a new thread.

Hey ur lights......hrrmmm wat can i say, they look alright but i would perfer the angel lights. i mean i dont want to see 3 googly eyes in my rear view mirror hahaha sorry dude but yeh.....get teh angel lights asap!!!

i got a 2001 camry and i wanna change the air intake. right now its running stock but i wanan change it by getting HKS Super Flow pod filter but i need help building due to im newbie at construction. so if someone can help me and give me instruction in installing one of there or even how to rip out the stock air intake and what i need to change it and stuff. just like instructions and stuff ><*sigh*

hey i need help with my camry, my amtes selling Drift R with rubber and he first was ognna buy it from him but he had mix up with his offset, therefore he must sell. i was wodnering would 17" Drift R rims with offet of 21 and PCD 5*114.3, would fit on my camry, the camry is a 2001 camry, the long salon one.

yeah it is possible, if you search on the toyotanation.com forums there are a few people who have done it :D

but you need to know what you are doing :P, it usually involves cutting and retrofitting etc

from what ive seen, usually the most popular places to put them inside the car would be under the dash in the footwells or under the seats.

at the moment ive got a 04 Camry Sportivo V6, which i drive everyday to Uni and back :P (pics here btw http://www.cardomain.com/id/terrynham)

and my dads got a 04 Kluger, i drive that sometimes

its really upto you, what type of cars you into (sedans, coupes, hatch, etc)? new or used?

but for 30k im sure you can get almost whatever you want :D

hey ive got a 2000 camry in-line 4 advantage (mums old car passed it to me) :), its a 2000 model so therefore it has the old long body which is simple and honestly ****!, i was hoping if i could get some sites from u guys to help me redesign the car. i was thinking full body kit with carbon fibre wing and bits and pieces. can u guys help with that???

i also would like to ask for some help to modify the engine t pull out more power from its ****ty in-line 4 engine -_-" sigh.

as u can see im fairly new to modifing camrys, i do know abit of tuning and the basics of modifing, it jsut owuld be nice to get some feedback from experience owners.
