is time for me to say something....havent been reading this forum for sometimes, sry for the late reply.

em living in Perth too. i bought my sportivo (Black) back in April 22 i think and i bought if for $29880 drive away in Big Rock Toyota.

wot i got are

1) Floor Mat

2) First 10,000km Service for FREE

3) 12 Months Road side assistance from AHG

4) 36 Months Road side assistance from Toyota

5) Toyota Premium Alarm System

6) Tank of Fuel (98 Premium)

7) Metallic Paint

8) 6 months Rego

also i paid $553 for my comprehensive insurance with QBE

if u think this price is reasonable and within yr budget, we can go to Big rock toyota together and try to beg for this deal again coz wot i been told is the deal i got is the cheapest in Perth ( dunno whether this is true or not but...)

Both of us will get a $100 fuel voucher too....:P

so far my car going quite smooth and doesnt seems to have the gear box problem. i guees the gear box has been enhanced in the 2005 version and also toyota claimed the car from 0-100 in 8.4 secs. i tested it on the track that the car actually run 7.66 secs from 0-100 and i havent done any mod to my car...purely STOCK. anyway it really depends on how u launch yr car.

i bought mine in perth

i bought it for 29,880 drive away....a bit more than wot u guys pay in the eastern state coz the stamp duty in WA is MUCH MUCH higher.

for this price, i got window tinted, toyota premium alarm system fitted ( replaced the existing immobiliser remote system), floor mat, metallic paint, 12 months rego, 12 months road side assistant, and my first 10,000km service for FREE

me from perth too and i just been to one of the workshop in Myaree.

coz i wanna get the CAI and unichip fit onto my 05 stivo.

but the sales there cannot find the parts dat fits my stivo...he will call me back tomorrow about the parts. i can give u the website and address...u can go there and have a look 2.

Hi all Stivo freaks,

After 3 weeks of driving my new stivo, AWESOME. May be i been driven it for more than 2 weeks from now, i find that the power it given me is not as good as when i first picked up my car 3 weeks ago.

i m going to order a AEM CAI, KnN Filter and the unichip this weekend but b4 i do that i just wanna know will the above mod void my new car warranty?...i m very worrying about it if it does.

Also just wanna find out how good it would be if i done the above mod without getting the exhaust done..coz i dun want it LOUD......

normally i will bring it to the carwash where they have awesome water pressure and most of the equip u need.

Hi all,

I just picked up my Stivo 10 days ago, and till now, i oredi done 1000+ km on the clock....my first 1000 service will be tomorrow..hehe..anyway...i m quite happy with the speed and power which the VVTL-i engine delivers. After reading most of the posts in the forum, i think it is the time for me to modify a little bit to my stivo.

First thing i wanna get outta it is performance. I just wana know does it make Big diff if i get the CAI installed. How much would it cost me roughly include installation and how many Kw gain will i get after installing it...this is the main issue i wanna find out.

Also any recommendation about the CAI u guys can given me...coz i m not really good in modifying. Does it go faster than wot it should be...say acceleration and top spd after installing it.....

My name is Ronny, i m from Perth Western Australia. I just bought a brand new black sportivo from the big rock toyota in Wanneroo Perth on Monday and em getting it on this coming sat....cant wait....:)

just wanna get some info from u all that wot i have to aware of when i get my new can.....ive been reading the forum since i bought this car on monday.....lots of interesting stuff that u all been brought up....

1) how long is the run-in period?

2) toyota claimed 8.4 secs 0-100 in acc....on the motoring mag...it said is

8.22....others mag said in the 7's.....so wot is the actual figure ....

3) Wot is the top speed of this car?

4) within the run-in period...is it true to keep the engine under 4500rpm as possible? wot if i accidentally rev over it?

5) for top accerleration ....at wot rpm should i change the gear.....say 0-100

6) any of u from Perth...just wanna form a sportivo club here as well...or we have oredi got one here
