  1. if you have your laptop in for repair for more than 3 times during its warranty period, you're entitled to get a replacement, else I would suggest you give fair trading office a call. It worked for me :D

  2. sorry for the dumb question but how big is the rolla's tank anyway (facelift rolla to be precise)? I read through the manual but couldn't find any info on it..

The sportivo's have 60 litres, whereas the other models have 55 litres.

noice, so basically the fuel LED is turned on as soon as there 20 ltr or less, is it correct?

  3. I personally got my car serviced at Toyota up until my warranty expired, mainly because I didn't want to void my warranty and also having Toyota's stamps in the service log book helps keep the car's resale value. But yeah, after my warranty is up, I've been servicing my car elsewhere :)

  4. I wouldn't buy a laptop or anything of high value off ebay because the seller generally disappear after the sale is completed so if you ever have any issue with the product you'd be stuck.. Manufacturers often do not provide support for products sold on eBay even though sellers always say the products come with such and such warranty. You would better off going to BIG retailers such as DSE, HM or the likes to buy computers as they do have good customer service. A few years ago I bought a computer from DSE, I took it home and felt it wasn't really what I was looking for, I then brought it back to the store for an exchange which I got with no question asked, I wouldn't have been able to do it had I bought it off ebay or local computer shops. Dell is also a good place to get cheap computers :)

  5. I've had my license for less than 3 years so I haven't got the chance to drive as many cars as some of you might have :D

    these are what I've driven

    - 03 Ford Falcon XT

    - 99 Ford Falcon

    - 00 Honda Civic

    - 00 Mitsubishi Mirage

    - 01 Honda Accord

    - 07 Acura CSX (drove this beauty when I was in Canada, it's basically the high end Honda Civic that we have here)

    - 05 Toyota Corolla Hatch <= my baby :D

  6. stay as far away as possible from Celeron processors. They may look appealing but they are cr ap in temrs of performance. I would suggest you get a Dell with core 2 duo at the very least, they would cost around $900 and they will last for years. IBM laptops are among the most expensive on the market.. sinan's offer sounds good as well :)

  7. alright WA boys time for dayve's noob moment.

up until now ive had my car serviced at toyota--> cost killing me

its done 40 000km, if i go elsewhere, say teenagah, allstar garage (anywhere reputable cos dont want toyota touching my future tune) and gives u a stamp in the logbook.

will i still get have warranty? or does it have to be all toyota services?

    thanks doods!

    (add flamage now) lol

    dayve

During the warranty period, you have to get your car serviced at Toyota service centres, else it would void the warranty.. at least that's what I was told when I purchased me car..

  8. just a slightly off topic question. What product do you guys use to clean up your calipers before painting them? My calipers look really dirty, they're completely black, covered by a thick layer of dust, I guess it's because of the steel wheels I had a while back. I went to SuperCheap Auto this morning, bought myself a brake cleaner can but apparently it doesn't help at all.. Any suggestions?

  9. alright guys, looks like Noble Toyota has caught up with other Toyota dealers in terms of prices, I just rang them up asking for a quote for those power windows, the guy told me it would cost $900 using after market parts for the front windows ONLY, if I want genuine toyota part, it'd be $2000 (also for the front only). I didn't even ask how much it'd cost to get all 4 windows done, I'm stunned LOL

  10. thanks for the quick reply 1rocky. I have to agree with dayve on this one $1000 is way too expensive for me but I guess it makes sence, things are usually more expensive coming from Toyota. I think it might be cheaper to get it done at asian shops (thinking about Cabramatta/Bankstown area), I'll have a look, if I find anything interesting, I'll report back, I'm clearly not the only one who wanna get after market power window :D
