I just been debating with my friend that the Corolla Sportivo can hold good resale value after a few yrs and with a couple of thousand ks.

He says Honda cars like DC5R hold better value and its better of me to get one since a new Sportivo would set me back $32k drive away anyway.

But then again im aiming for a brand new car and i just went to a Terry Shield Toyota dealer at parra today and saw a nice white Sportivo :)

So can anyone here maybe tell me if they bought a 2nd hand sportivo and for how much also with how many kms.

We got ours 2 weeks ago come with bonnet protector snd headlight protect matts and first service for 27600.00 drive away we live in victoria we emailed 20 dealers for there best price they rang and they had one chance to give us there best price we had 3 dealers drop to this price then we went to our local dealer and he matched the price which was fantastic we got the colour we wanted as well

our tips

* approach dealers near end of month they all have targets

* be just as pushy as they are !!!

* you tell them what you want and how much you will pay if they wont budge call a dealer that will

* try not to go to dealer ship as they will have you sighned up ( they are very tricky people) so to speak heh heh

we have already had it back for first service and got windows tinted done the exhaust and cold air intake and have shift light on the way from US

I saw a black sportivo in wonthaggi just like mine !!! in fact I had to look twice thought it was mine lol

Im confused so your saying there is a facelift of the facelifted corolla

nope looks the same as yours but i am unable to get headlight and bonnet protection for it as parts are not yet availble !!!! according to toyota !!! my hubby tells me its 6 months 05 lol How long have you had yours?

After you drive it, let us know if you have the imfamous metal scraping noise when accelerating, downshifting etc.

well it runs great no metal scraping noises and neat as a pin !!! changed the oil at 100 klms will get it changed again at a 1000 husband has dam racked off in it again. he has already orded mods cat back exhaust cold air intake and shift light and uni chip told him that is it lol will try taking photos tommorow p.s the lights and grill are a little diffrent B) B) B) B) B)

Yippy it looks great my husband has disapeared in it lol hope he comes back i got floor mats with it + bonnet and head light protectors but they havent arrived as its the newest one off the boat and the lights are diffrent or something like that built 05.2005 has only 20 klms will post some pics soon :D :D :D :D :D

Well its our first new car so if it aint perfect it can go back and they can send me another one !!! going to go over it with a fine toth comb ( so to speak ) heh heh
