Camry 3sfe loss of power

Hi I have a sv21 camry automatic with 3sfe engine.I had just gone out 5 mins from home when the car lost power it will rev freely out of gear no strange noises but when I drive it it seems to have lost a lot power.Any ideas cheers Dave

What does it feel like when driving? Does the engine rev high but the car doesn't seem to move appropriately, or does it feel really bogged down? I would firstly check your automatic transmission fluid level. That's one area that can account for a loss in power.

Problem cured the exhaust was partialy blocked by large green frog I should have thought of looking there as I had the same symptoms when family of same type of frogs tried to take up residence in the air intake.

I gotta ask, how did it manage to stay stuck with the exhaust flow pushing against it? Was it cooked good?

The french would have been proud of me it was one seriously cooked frog.As for how it stayed in the pipe god only knows I must have done 20Ks trying different theories and changing components from spares car.I hope when I take the cressida out today that I dont get a repeat performance.
