Hello everyone, I don't own a Toyota yet, but hoping to get one soon. My family owns a yaris sedan. I would like some advice as I'm planning to buy a cheap corolla for a runabout under 4000. I searched around and found this one:

But I am not sure what I should be looking out for when inspecting the car? Are parts easy to find for this model, considering that its almost 20 years old? Also, I am not sure whether high miles are a good or bad thing, because I've heard that high miles means a worn out car, but low miles means an unused car and wherever I've read, both seem to be a bad thing.

i wouldnt suggest going over it yourself unless you really know what youre looking for in detail. so i would highly recommend an racv vehicle check. that will give you a general idea of whether the car is a gem or a lemon.
