New kluger

Klugered

Recommended Posts

Well new KX R picked up yesterday. 2010 make. Think I got a good price...How much do the dealers get charged? Really like to know what they pay the manufacturers and how much profit they make. I had one dealer crying poor after offering $45,000 on another KXR that she was asking $47,500 and said 45000 was only a $400 profit.... Do I want to know...Does anyone know?

Anyway cant wait...thanks for all the hints on here

$45000 is a good price. But I am sure if I only get $2500 off the car I will cry foul. I normally have a 10% rule. I want about 10% off. I manage to get it in my old Mazda, my BMW and my Kluger.

I got $67000 on my Grande (added tow bar and window tint) when it was retailed $72500 with the same spec when it got out. Mind you the Yen back then was 60 yen per aussie dollar and they are now 80+. Now you can pick up a Grande AWD under $60K I believe.

You will like the car. Make sure you rev the car after 1000km and change your oil at your first visit. I know Japanese car had good oil but they don't last long. Japanese change their oil far more frequently then 10000km.

Just picked up a new 2010 Kluger KX-R AWD 7 seater on Tuesday. Very impressed so far but getting used to the sheer size of the vehicle will take some time (been driving a 2005 Corolla for the last 5 years). We were lucky in that the dealer had exactly the model spec and colour we were after.

Got an accessory pack from the dealer that included nudge bar, side steps, tow bar, mudguards, floor mats, rubber cargo mat, and a first aid kit. Changed the headlights to a set of Philips X-treme power globes. Also got a set of roof rails from Oz Nest waiting for me to install. Gee I'll have to stop reading this forum as I getting ideas for new stuff to install rolleyes.gif

BTW, does anybody know how I go about changing my profile to list the new vehicle? I get a not authorised error whenever I try.
