Hey guys I'm looking at buying a 1991 celica sx problem is it has no log books. It is at about 148xxx ks on the clock and I was wondering if anything major would need doing soon. For example would the timing belt have already been replaced? (I know this will seem like a stupid question but) Is the lack of log books something to worry about.

Cheers Jackson

148xxx kms isnt overly high for a celica of that age, that said, the belt i believe is done at 100,000kms.

On a car that old I wouldnt be too worried, how much are they asking for it?

Common issues are oil leaks, bad syncros on 2nd/3rd gear, completely rooted shocks, water pump, etc

I would be getting a RACQ/NRMA/whatever inspection done on it.
