Hello All, I am very new to this site and new to alot of technology, however I have an iphone and a 2008 kluger. Can anyone tell if there is a bluetooth kit that will actually work with good result within this car. I understand bluetooth to mean that you can set your phone in your hand bag on bluetooth setting and the stereo system will pick up the phone call through its speakers..... is this correct..... sorry to so up to play with all the technology but do have some basic knowledge. Would appreciate anyone who can explain/assist.

Correct...Just bought a 2008 Kluger myself.....I have an iPhone, just leave the Bluetooth 'ON' and it does the rest (you must register your phone the very first time though).....Still trying to load contacts.

Hi

Instructions on pairing your phone and car stereo or GPS head unit for hands free calling in 2008-2010 model Klugers is in one of the manuals that came with the car, check in your clove box of centre console storage unit for the car service log books and manuals. Should be in a plastic cover.

The first time you will need to follow a process of pushing buttons and entering a code on your phone or the car stereo/GPS unit (depending on which model Kluger you have eg KX-S, KX-R, Grande etc) so that the car knows your phone. From then on it should connect every time you have the phone close enough to the car as long as bluetooth is switched on in your phone.

However if for some reason it doesn't connect or someone else has used your car and connected their phone, you can go through a menu and find your phone and select it again in a few seconds, without doing the whole pairing process over again. That's also in the manual somewhere.

Hope this helps.
