Has anyone had the aircon service done? I had mine serviced at Toyota last week and have noticed that it seems to be cooler and doesn't smell like it used to. Does anyone know what they actually do? I think it cost be about $100.

My previous commodore had its aircon serviced. What they did was to top up the refrigerant, changed the filter, and also sprayed the whole system with a disinfectant to sanitise/remove odours from water leaks, tobacco smoke, food, mould/mildew, fungi/bateria, etc. It was about $150 for the service.

Ah yeah, it seems worth it to me then. Once the car has that gross smell (from the aircon) its hard to get it out of the fabric etc.
