Need help with dash reassembly

I purchased an Alpine headunit and pocket for my 2003 Toyota Echo. Everything on the bottom half went together relatively ok (save for some slight scratches on the trim thanks to my clumsiness), but I seem to be having trouble putting the panel that holds the aircon switches back in. I have a feeling something doesn't line up, as after reassembly the aircon outlet and temp rotary knobs are stiffer than before to operate whilst the centre one is fine. I had a look at Ozecho but can't seem to find anything.

Any offers of help would be grealy appreciated. I'm in Melbourne.

I had the same trouble onto the Corolla and I guess it's similar.......depends how it clips together or does it screw...if screws try undoing all of them and then doing them up in sequence as one or more of them may have more tension on than the other....if clips together make sure everything behind the panel is flush with the dash before attempting it clip back in...just my two cents worth :)
