Crazy Climate settings

Hi all,

Funny thing happened the other night while driving home from the Blue Mountains.

It was freezing so I had the heat settings set to feet. For some reason there was a loud fan noise coming from the rear roof vents, even though I had turned the fan down to min!

Weird.

Anyone else think this is strange?

Rear fan is controlled separately to the front. If there is a big difference between front and rear temperature settings, you can get that happening.

I'm more baffled by why when you get into a stinking hot car the climate sets the fan on high with recirculated air and the A/C off

I find the air conditioning very effective (including heating) but the automatic climate control is useless.

Sometimes mine will do the same thing when turn on fan and ac and hear all the fans and air going in the back then relising that rear ac button is on and forgotten to push the sync button. I not sure if rear ac button comes on it itself when you turn the fan on or not im not sure.

I agree why the recirculate mode comes on every time you start the car is a mystery the last thing you need on a hot day is it to recirculate hot air :g: apart from that the air con works well especially here in the central west of nsw its the best air con i ever had in a car its so lovely and cool. when we had cold snap a about a month ago heating was brilliant.

I the auto mode to noisy you cant hear radio or your self think.
