Hi All

Ive just purchased a 2008 Kluger KX-R with 50,000km. The car will be used for beach, city and bit of offroad. Looking to fit Coopers All Terrains. Can any one advise if they, or anyone else they know has fitted All Terrains to their kluger, and the results. I understand the AWD Kluger is not the offroader the 4x4's are, i just want to know if anyone else has any info on AT's on Klugers. looking at 245/70/R17's

Cheers

Jarrod

I have Dunlop AT3 on mine, due to the areas I go, I have been in soft sand, I would not do too much real soft sand travelling due to the no low ratio in these. I have been in some real rough terrain, the kluger handled it very well. I believe by my experience that the AWD Kluger is a good all rounder, you just have to remember it is not a full 4x4, and look at where you are heading, make sure of height of obsticles etc. Treat it well and you will get JUST about any where with the AWD Kluger.

Sand running makes the engine work hard, but I have yet to let the tires down to fully test her this way. Always best to lower tyre pressure when in soft sand anyway. Always carry a pump for this sort of terrain.

hope this helps a bit.
