Replacement Suspension 08 Kluger

Recommended Posts

I'm looking to replace the shocks and springs in my 2008 Kluger Grande, however I'm strugglingto find an after market supplier who has listed replacements. So far I've checked Monroe, Pedders, Bilstein and Koni with no success!

Does anyone know a strut/shock manafacturer that provides replacement compenents? I would have thought that having had the newer model on the market for the last 4yrs or so this wouldn't have been such a problem, but it appears I'm mistaken. Cheers

Hi nigel, welcome to forum mate.

Nigel arb do aftermarket suspension, called old man emu, they offer more load carrying capacities and offer a better ride on rough corrugated roads and offer better handling than the original suspension, I not sure if opposite lock or tjm do after market suspension components or not, but I know arb do.

I use to have old man emu suspension on my old prado and it was fantastic, I had the prado loaded to the hilt with family on some badly corrugated roads and the handling and ride was so much better than the original suspension, that I drove on a couple of weeks before I fitted the old man emu suspension.

The guys at my local arb dealer are a great bunch of people, they know what there talking about and stand by what they sell, there might be cheaper stuff out there but nothing is anywhere as good as arb products, I have dealt with them for years and I absolutly love there products they sell.

Mate I dont know if theres a arb dealer in your area, but if there is I would go down and have a yarn to them, I think you will find there really helpfull. nigel I hope this helps mate.
