2008 on Mid Seat Centre Console

One of the few anomalies in the well appointed Grande is the nasty plastic mid row centre console, which effectively turns the entire vehicle into a childs rattle as soon as you put even a small item in it.

Not to mention the "additional" (as if they could possibly be needed) two drink holders, 10" away from the pullout units in the rear of the front console being redundant.

Has anyone found a usefull conversion or aftermarket replacement for this misplaced of recycled plastic waste?

Is anyone willing to sell one surplus to requirements, to me, at a bargain price obviously, in the hope that I can butcher it into some form of usefullness?
