Yaris electric power steering - non ABS?

I am trying to get electric power steering in my kit car using a 2007 Yaris column and ecu. Unfortunately mine is for an ABS car and uses CAN bus for speed data. Can anyone tell me whether the Yaris was ever sold in Australia without ABS, and if so where I might get an ecu from. The non ABS ecu has a separate speed input as the 6th wire in the plug. Thanks
