  1. Easy one. Most likely its the small plastic panel on the passenger side foot well (on gear shift side). If you touch it you will find its slightly loose (only held on with plastic screws). So grab a bit of tape so it stops it from moving. Problem fixed!!
  2. This is awesome, I look forward to seeing it at a meet if I get time:)
  3. I find it easy these days. If it wheelspins into 2nd I know I have done it right.
  4. Yep Ive pulled on one in 1st and second with a passanger and lots luggage. Clio sports are not that fast.
  5. Drove the car last night and rattle rattle rattle. Misses was late coming out of work and did a full check of anything loose I could find. My kick panel on the drivers side seems secure but on the passenger side (centre console) there is a panel which seemed very looose held in by plastic screws. Sort of moved it round dodgy and no rattles on the way home. Hopefully thats it:) Doubt it will be that easy though!
  6. I drove to work this morning and rattle rattle rattle. Got one on my workmates to try and figure out where it was coming from but alas no friggen rattle at all (was pretty warm at this time - seems to rattle when its cold outside and not at all when the dash is warm). To me it sounds like the left door now (*** knows) but I will check the plastic kick panel and see what happens. Rang toyota and they said bring it in anytime but I dont see much point in it seeing its so intermitent. Oh well, gotta pick up the misses in a little bit and I will see what happens this time! Thanks again for any advice:)
  7. Yep I have noticed pushing around the cd player helps, I was wondering if its the cd stack rattling... Does yours rattle at exactly 2800-3200 rpm? Intermitent - does it one day and totally gone the next and so on? Bloody rattles are darn hard to figure out hence I was hoping to fix it myself!
  8. Problem with all rattlles/sqeaks etc. Does it all the time but the day the mechanic looks at it id does not do it...
  9. Thanks, would that effect the 05 stivos? I might give toyota a call and see if I get someone who cares ;)
  10. Last couple of weeks I have had a bad rattle coming from I think the centre of my dash (maybe just maybe the cd stacker). It is only audible at 2800-3200rpm and you can hear it when stationery (revving) or when driving. Its becoming bloody annoying and I am a little wary of taking it back to Toyota for a dash rattle (I'd rather fix it myself). Anyone had a similar problem and fixed it?
  11. How a bout a spin down the old pacific highway? Done it heaps of times on motorbikes over the years and its my favorite road in Sydney by a long way, propably taking the VFR up there on the weekend with my mate who rides a Hayabusa. If anyones interested in a rolla run I think a weekdays would be best so we done get in the way of the motorbikes and if its just a few of us we could stop at the Motorbike cafe for some lunch etc. Just an idea but could be lots of fun, nice cruise etc and the twisties are lots of fun!
  12. Had my rear sway bar installed by the mechanic round the corner this morning for $40. I was going to do it, but my Torque wrench is a cheap pos and my socket set does not have the right size! Took it for a little spin and it handles like its on rails! All I have done is pedders lowered springs, Whiteline Rear sway and Whiteline strut. Huge improvment over stock. Very happy!
  13. I have only installed the strut brace and just tightened it as much as I could. Anyone know the torque settings? I have not attempted the rear sway bar as yet, cause I really think I should find out the torque settings first.
  14. Was going to clean my car but alas my motorbike had a dead battery in St Peters yesterday arvo:(
  15. Great night last night, Thanks xoom for the parts and it was good to meet you guys. Look forward to getting to know all of you better at future meets:) And some nice wheels on those rollas, especially liked those white wheels on the Red rolla. I think thats corozza's car. Dunno if I spoke to you but very nice looking car mate:)
