  1. Hi all, I was recently driving my 85 Cressida GLXi (which has so far given me no problems) and I felt the power steering "go" on me. I took it straight to the nearest servo and the bloke topped it up with fluid (I reckon the silly ***** put too much in). I waited a few minutes and then drove off, but nothing changed. The steering has been very heavy (exactly like an old VL commodore I used to own years ago). I ended up extracting some of the fluid to get the levels down but nothing has changed, it is still very very heavy. Me mate seems to think it could be related to my current issues with a leaky radiator, but I don't know. Does anyone have advice on what I should check or do next? I really don't want to take it to a mechanic, I reckon I could probably do the work myself, only I'm not sure what to do next. Cheers.
