  1. So Another forum I have on has had the following query posted and was wondering you anyone could input more

Okay, so possibly the dumbest question ever  but we've just gotten a 2008 Tarago and I cannot, for the life of me, get the sliding doors to stay open! They keep just wanting to slide closed unless on a totally flat road, which is a pain because our driveway is ever so slightly angled, just enough for the doors to want to close.

I've read the manual and it says "make sure the doors are secure open so they don't slide close" but how the heck do I do that!?

Is there a trick i'm missing? Please help me!

    Signed,

Ever so embarrassed for not being able to operate a car doors :o

FYI They have stated they do open the door fully and even an approx 5-10 deg slant forward will close it.

  2. Hey Peeps,

I have been Driving the aurion around more whilst Wulfkind is In Melbourne. I have been playing my favorite M3 CD on Random and have noticed that it will only play tracks 21, 33, 77, 100, 149 and 179. I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this. We still have to stock sound system and normally the player will cycle through these numbers then move on to a different set. however this time it is ONLY playing these tracks. if I change to different MP3 CD it plays the same tracks and has issues playing random on a normal CD at all (I think it's a lack of tracks for these numbers)

Anyone got any ideas, aside from another trip to a dealer...

  3. alright just got back from work and had a good look at the car after O'Brien fixed the window.

    here's the damage list:

Centre Piece a bit scratched on the passenger's side

Leather seat scratched :( i am extremely upset about this

Passenger door interior a bit scratched but not that noticeable.

Now to get all these fixed back to how it used to be what are my options? because the only option i can think of is going through Toyota which is not worth it at all

since they'll charge me thousands. or half of what the car is worth. it seriously pisses me off seeing my car in this sort of condition. i'm really close to wanting to sell it and getting another zr6. hurts me just looking at the car all scratched up like that.

if these were damged as part of the window incident (weather during repair or actually breaking) then you should be ableto call insurance company and have them fix it.. .

again chek with them & your PDS to ensure this though.

  4. I occasionally drive my mum's Camry, Does that count?

It's a 1999 Conquest V6. She doesn't drive it like an old lady though, she has a habbit of leaving people for dead at the lights...

I am actually in the process of obtaining an aurion at the momen now though. It's the closest thing I can get to her car with 6 cylinders

REASON FOR BUYING:Hubby and I owned (technically still do) 3 Cars, A Nissan Partol which is his Play car, A Landcruiser which is my car & a Commodore which is Hubby's Daily. We recently sarted a transaction with my brother to take the unused Landcruiser off our hads ad disel was too expensive for us to use it as a Daily. Then after a few issues and some unneeded petrol guzzling from the Commodore Hubbydecided he wanted to upgrade to somethign newer & more reliable. We had looked earlier in the year and were trying to decide on a car but never could, he had his heart set on the lancer.. I wasn't too thrilled with it.

so this time around we entertained a car upto 3 years old. Hubby found some Aurions in our price range and we went to ook.. after drooling over them for the last 2 years, we fell inlove. Almost brought a Cyber green one but due to dodgey dealerships we got an 07 Burgundy one. Pick it up Saturday.

woohoo! another female aurion owner! :)

I only own half of it... Wulfkind owns the other half..
