  1. a nice matt bronze colour is hard to find unless u go with powdercoating.

if you lucky you will run into Dupli colour bronze wheel paint i ran into it at autopro once but i already went with black.

    Black is easiest!

just to give u a rough idea, if u want a more clearer version send me a bigger sized photo of ur car.

The black will go with your foggies and your eyelids, if you had the black headlight and lip it would compliment it even more :P and it will look similar to my car hahah!

    cheers.

red callipers look to ordinary go with aqua blue black or bronze

  2. jdm is excatly the same, the only 2zz model with more power is the TRD sports M which was pretty much designed to compete with the type R. equiped with a LSD, Lightened and strengthened chassy better suspension and so on :P think it was making like 149kw or something aorund there.

  3. itr comes with stock front and rear struts, lsd double wishbone suspension, buckseats and weighing in at 1000kg. it's un compareable to the corolla in a "track race" but on the street where comfort matters. the corolla bumps it up with a 4 door, leather interior air conditioning reclinable rear seats :P

  4. keep in mind that the stiffer u have ur dampers on the shorter it will last.

also d2 has funky spring rates, normally on a front wheel drive car the rear should be stiffer then the front, but d2 have 7kg F and 5KG right, if u look at any other brand normally its would be 5kg F and 7gk Rear lol that shows lack of R&D. stock celica spring rates are 6kg front and 8kg rear.

fwd cars naturally understeer so you have to expect some no matter what, and you will never get "go kart" like handleing even with the best set of coil-overs. also if you get a rear swaybar it will increase your oversteer abit so it might balance it out abit, but it really depends on the way you drive, thats what sussy's are about, balance.

  5. wtf hasport mounts, u rich *****. lol!

brian i think u made everyone on this forum love the 57s lol!

i think we need some pictures of the te37 mate!

  6. your first and reverse gear select sleve is probally fkt.

I had grinding problems too, but it only happened sometimes, most of the time i just changed slowly, but apprantly this is a common problem so i wouldnt be to worried about it. but when my gb was opened my first and reverse select sleve was demolished. along with my 2nd gear and 2nd gear syncro lol.

has he given u a quote yet? caus toyota wanted aprox 2g for labor alone and parts extra LOL!

Heres the new select sleve compared to the old one, left is new one and old as u can see the dog teeeth are all chipped LOL

    here's a closeup

even in this condition it didnt grind as much as u say yours does, or maybe the dealer ****tin ya :P caus it took them half and hour to figure our which select sleve i was holding, even with the mech that specializes in gearboxes lol. one dude even said the celica gearbox is unbreakable because it has these "things called syncromesh" excatly what he said to me hahaha! which prevents it from grinding and it can only break if i push it too hard but no grinding, man was i laughing, so i ordered my stuff and left.

  7. Sorry to burst your bubble guys... ITB won't fit in celica or corolla. It'll sit so far beyond the bonnet, even a custom bonnet won't be enough.

However, there has been people that modified a 4age 20v itb into a 2zz celica. But that's all show, no moving...

    Wrong !!

    ITB on 2ZZ Celica ;)

Also the clip of the techno spirits mr-s vs the turbo cars, its been posted about a billion times.

That MR-s is fast dont get me wrong, but it's nothing compared to the other NA representatives like the J's racing s2000.

Na VS turbo battle has been covered on BMI, 6 cars tsukuba circut.

Taking first place was the Mine's GTR, and second was the MCR GTR and after the race they realised it had one blown turbo. Third was accually a NA rx7 driven by Keiichi Tsuchiya

http://store.driftingshop.com/hotvevo2bat1.html there's a trailer of the NA battle with the TPS mr-s which came last outta all the na cars =[

http://sportcar.net/showthread.php?p=4786#post4786 there's the na vs turbo battle, download the part 2 if u dont want the introduction of all the cars.

  8. Carbing 3point sexynesss!

is that a top fuel power neo? did u notice any diffrence man?

barefoot's engine bay was sex man! duno about the red sponges but hahaha!

  9. So if we put all the go fast bits, nice suspension, lsd, bucket seats into a sportivo, strip it of weight and go on vegie diets will we be competitive with a dc2r ?

I've never been in a dc2r, but friends of mine have and said it's one of the best if not the best handling front wheel drive car that they've driven.

You just need a beter driver.
