you "can" mix oils but why bother? if you purchase the 5L container they will flush out the old oil anyway :)

i cant comment on other oils but castrol formula r was an awesome oil!, its called edge now so its 'alot better' or so they say, anyhow if they somehow improved on formula r, more reason to get it!

Hey everyone, i need to get a coolant and brake fluid flush but im going somewhere else to do it.

Im gonna purchase the long life coolant from toyota but how much do i need?

Also with brake fluid is it shared with the clutch? cos my friends civic's clutch and brake fluid are the same, and also how much will i need?

i've already bought some castrol super response dot 4 fluid, but may not be enough!

sorry forgot to add i have a 2003 sportivo @ 32000 km, the coolant is between low and full so i think its time to change coolant anyhow! thanks

hey im gettin my discs either machined or replaced when i go in for a warranty respray of my bumper, toyota used a high pressure jet and ripped off a huge chunk of paint on my bumper,

they say the pads are covered only up to 20000 km, where do i tell them that its covered to 30000km?? im hoping for a new set of rotors cos, they will warp again!, my rotors are absolutely f*cked, i get huge amounts of shudder in my steering wheel and u can tell by looking at them that something is obviously wrong :S

hey just get a 5L container and do ask for the oil container back, go for castrol edge 5w-30, ive been using formula r for ages now and its great oil!

5L u should get <1 L back in the container, toyota mainly uses magnatec, its mineral based so i wouldnt use it

my race pipe rattled heaps, because it was tapping on a metal plate, behind the axle-back flange connection towards the front of the car you see your exhaust piping just above a metal plate, remove it and the rattling will stop, thats what i did with mine :)

n1 is so quiet now compared to the race pipe

buy ur own man! supply ur own oil its cheaper

my 20k and 30k service cost me about $160 cos i supplied my own oil.

my dealer uses magnatec, it works out to be the same price as my fully synth oil i supplied!
