Hi,
I parked my car about 10km from home 2 night ago so I could walk home, it was a lovely day for a walk. I walked back the next day to pick up my car to find that someone had purposely reversed into it several times and knocked it into a ditch. Unfortunately, it will have to be put to rest, no insurance and I hadn't really driven it that much in past 2 months. It is sad as it was in excellent condition and could have gone on forever. Hopefully someone here might like to purchase the wreck or are in need of some parts.
The car itself was in excellent condition with many new parts installed in the past 6-18months. Things which have been recently replaced (off the top of my head)
alternator
starter motor
2 new tyres
radiator (only 4 months ago!)
tie rod end
pitman arm
fuel pump
water pump
exhaust/mufflers
belts
rocker cover gasket
shocks [*}Battery
All these parts were not reconditioned but brand new.
It is an automatic and the gearbox is available too. The motor and drive train only has 142000km on it. It only had two owners myself for the last 3 years and I bought it from a senior in Newcastle. Regularly serviced and cared for so all should be in great condition.
There are a selection of panels also (RHS is damaged and also some LHS, bonnet, boot ok). It has all the chrome bumpers etc and visor. Original steel dress rims which can be shined up, they have a little rust. Original lights all working. inside doors good. Beautiful black dash & instruments (still as black as ever). Some windows in good condition, front windscreen not and back good. Original lockable fuel cover. Also has a working air conditioning unit. And of course an AM radio!!
Details of the car is as follows:
Year: 1978
Make : Toyota Corona
SHape: Sedan
Engine: 1968
VIN RT104811927
Tare: 1100
Engine number 18R1698666

Sale can be as a whole or in parts but whole would be preferred I guess
I am located in the snowy mountains region (about 1.5 hours from canberra) 5 from Sydney.
Thanks, Melinda
