Dragging an old thread up again - I recently purchased five UP10's with the hope of rebuilding 2-3 of them. People interested can follow my progress through my work shop on stalkbook: www.facebook.com/BlueDogGarage Clint 0403 733 054 Perth
  2. We are going to do a print run of plate protectors for the show. These prints will be on thick gloss paper and available at $1ea for anyone interested - please contact me if you would like to be included in the print run on Friday. For those of you requesting "plate protectors", please specify exactly how many you want - ie, you will need two if you wish to cover both front and rear plates! For those of you interested, we currently have 73 entries to whom, I will be sending an email with directions and requests for the day shortly, and then listing that info everywhere else the show is advertised. Please do not post any more entry forms - to ensure your entry is received in time, either email it to submissions@teccwa.com or deliver in person to the address on the entry form, and as always we will also accept your entry form on the day, but please let us know you're coming with a reply in any of the threads regarding the day on any forum?! Clint
  3. More advertising for you to look out for and pass on to anyone interested: We have an article in several local newspapers this week, please check your local community newspaper for an article that looks similar to this. Please save me a copy for future advertising and marketing endeavors too. We are also featured on the City of Perth website here if you'd like a non "automotive forum" link to send around to all your friends in invitation to attend the day. Our own club website is also up to date with car show information here with links and entry details also linked to that page. Finally, we are also on Stalkbook, er Facebook! You can find show details here as well as club details linked to that page. Invite your friends, invite those people you only associate with on stalkbook, ..., hell - invite your stalkers too - you'll be in a public place and the polished chrome everywhere will dazzle your would be admirer!
  4. THIS WEEK IS REGISTRATION WEEK! We have approximately 30 registration forms thus far - I would love to triple that number by this time next week. Your pre entry helps us better plan for the day allowing us to produce a better show for you. Remember, you can pre register and not turn up on the day - we understand life happens and sometimes attending an event is beyond your control. Doing this will also give us contact details for you, for other events you may wish to consider attending. Please go to the Toyotas in the Park Webpage and read the information contained. If you agree to the information, you can find a entry details here. For those of you not internet or computer savvy, please call me on 0403 733 054 for alternate entry arrangements. Clint
  5. Entry forms are now up and open. Please following the directions in the link to pre enter.

As for the actual cars we want to see on the day: everything! Old, new, projects, barn finds, time pieces, restored classics, competition cars, daily drivers, ect. and if you want to show it, we want you there. With the Perth City skyline as a backdrop, this is also a great photo opportunity for your vehicles too. 12. Occasion: Toyota owners and enthusiasts get together. Date: Sunday December 5th, 2010 Time: 1pm onwards Bring: Something to sit on, whatever you wish to drink, wives, husbands, girlfriends, boyfriends, games, sunscreen, hats, appetite, tall stories, ...! Cost: $15 per adult to cover the BBQ and food TECCWA will supply Location: Sir James Mitchell Park, South Perth Foreshore. We'll be situated on the grass area west of the western carpark, under the trees. From Mill Point Road, turn into Coode Street towards the river. Immediately past the bike path crossover turn left into the car park entry, and find a place to park at the western end. We'll be situtated under the trees near the carpark, bounded by the bike path, river and big flag pole there. If the car park is full, there is another car park on the RHS of Coode Street. Yep, its on again the annual South Perth BBQ. Same format and location as previous years, and only $15 per person for a BBQ lunch, with everyone welcome. 1pm start time at the western end of Sir James Mitchell Park near the car park and under the trees - bring your chairs, picnic rug, sunscreen, games, tall stories, alcohol should you wish to drink, … Scenario will be the same as last year, come down, eat bbq, tell tall stories, avoid sunburn, and enjoy the afternoon - a great chance to round out the year catching up with fellow Toyota owners and enthusiasts, with a great feed and a social beverage or three! I'd greatly appreciate your $15 per adult payment prior to November 29th, so I can gauge amounts and interest. I'm happy to travel to a few convenient locations around Perth to collect money prior to the day if people don't want to net bank, and I can't stress how important it is to notify me of your attendance please - makes catering sooooooo much easier! I also look forward to catching up with all of you for a social event worthy of your attendance?! For those of you interested in BBQ goodies, please forward your $15pp payments to the TECCWA bank account and place your name against your deposit as an identifier: Bank: Westpac BSB: 036037 A/C: 336522 Name: TECCWA For those of you not interested in BBQ, thats cool too, you are more than welcome to BYO, or simply pop by to say hello. A few people have also commented or asked about cars and the chance to show them off - if we fill the carpark with Toyotas then all good, but the day is more about a social event so feel free to bring anything that gets you there on the day. Finally, we're a couple of people short of hitting 50 financial members - if you've been meaning to join, please do so as I'd love to hit a personal goal with the club of 50 financial members within the first 12 months of operation. I'll also be giving a brief run down of events planned for the coming 12 months and am sure there will be something in those comments for everyone to enjoy. Please email me directly on clg AT teccwa DOT com with your confirmation or any questions you have regarding the day or TECCWA?! Clint
