  1. hehe... did they set the dampening rates for you or did you set them according to your requirements?

Just make sure, you don't force click when you reach the max or min setting. The info sheet states that if you do it, it will be damaged. So count your clicks ;)

BTw, is your back aching yet from the bumpy roads in our area? hehe

they set the dampening rates for me. and it feels fine a lil more bumpy but its bearable. yeah i read that instruction sheet kind of.

yeah my back is going okay LOL but i actually quite like it being abit more bumpy... feels jdm, i mean feels good

  2. Tom, did you mean 20 clicks from softest or 10 clicks away from hardest setting?

hey rowe i meant 10 clicks away from hardest. i think it is LOL i cannot remember what the guy told me now all i recall is 20 clicks from something lol

  3. welcome to the club :D now how low you riding?

thanks pete! its prob like 1.5 fingers all around guard to tyre. hey pete regarding your rear damper adjusters. did they put the flexible extensions in the rear or did they just drill a hole in the rear carpet and slot the damper adjuster through?

  4. hi i got pedders coilovers for my zre, cost a fair bit but worth it, rides nice (20 clicks from hardest). definately notice the improvement in cornering i.e less roll!

love it best money spent! will update with pics very soon!

  5. just thought i'd update this thread.

i recently put in a 3A racing pod filter as per the pdf file i've read posted here on the forums somewhere on it's strong points on filtration and ability to literally suck more as compared to others (and by comparison of pods, it includes injen as well).

ever since i installed the 3A racing pod, without resetting the ecu at all, the check engine light dissapeared and hasn't come back for a few days now.

i think it was because the injen pod has oil in or on it which the maf sensor picks up as a contaminant and throws the CEL? whereas the 3A racing pod is a dry type filter..

i could be wrong and the CEL may come up but i got a good feeling it may be the pod...

    any comments welcome.

    cheers,

    tom

    Nice TOM!

I installed my injen cai last week, no engine light, although, my injen filter was dry and also got the hydro shield for. How did u go with the bottom bracket? I had to make up my own out of aluminum sheeting.

    Chris

    g'day chris,

i got hydroshield too, its good! regarding the bottom bracket i just left it. it hangs unsupported haha
