-
and heres the trd one, also looks awesome.
hahaha!
That's the picture i used when i was selling the my TRD spoiler (I even wrote "rear spoiler"). took me months to sell it but eventually a guy bought it back in USA. Goodluck finding it, as TRD don't make them anymore (well since 7yrs ago)
If you want the full TRD bodykit (front lip, side skirt n rear lip) let me know. I have them still on my Camry. I might sell them by the end of this year.

i think the trip computer is learning as you go. So the more driving you do, get smarter it gets....

always best to remove old wax before applying new one. The meguiars General Purposed Cleaner/Degreaser should do it.

I did mine 3yrs ago. Depends what kind of projectors you're getting, the ones that i got are from the BMW E46 (cost me $250 inc shipping from USA).
When you're baking the headlights, don't put your headlight in with the oven on. Warm it up about 5-10mins (max temp), then turn it off and put one of your headlights in for about 3-5mins. Once the silicone/glue around the edges have soften, then slowly pry the lens. You need 4 screws to hold each projector in the headlight.
Aligning them is the most annoying. But you should be able to do them over a weekend.
here is my DIY link (really old, but hey at least it gives you an idea): http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/t136335.html
All the best and worst case is for you to get new set of headlights
if you have any further questions, feel free to pm me.

what type of cloth did you use?
a tip, try spraying the cleaner onto the microfibre cloth, NOT on the actual dash.

I remember posting a guide here or on TN years ago about this...
I don't remember roughly,
turn the key OFF to ACC (3x as quick as possible, with all doors closed)
then after this I THINK press the LOCK switch inside the car (near the door)
then press the remote contol.
but yeah thats all i remember.... :( sorry

^LOL.... yeah and your car has more power than the camry in the clip... (imagine if you had the Manual gearbox 5.5sec? LOL)
that sure is a camry 97-01 model. we own a camry, and according to my GTech the quickest 0-100 for me is 7.8sec
all i can say that was quite entertaining! :) was it on a flat road or hill?

aweome. i know alot of you guys live out west a bit.
but does anyone know any on this side of the bridge? ( manly mosman brookvale chatswood maybe??)
There's one in Thornleigh. Pioneer Avenue. don't know the business number, but they're the only one there anyway. Got 2 of my wheels fixed with them,

we received a call from them thru our business once. But instead of pressing the 90#, cant remember exactly what they said, but they usually ask for the onwer or manager, and if you say yes, they can transfer your phone carrier to theirs without signing a contract. been going on for months now...

I don't agree with crushing the cars...
Just throw the offenders in Jail for a while... One would think that'll teach them a lot more than losing their car...
our jail is becoming full. this is why you get alot of people doing community service instead of jail in time!
-
you can go to any registered service shop, AS LONG as they use the recommended oil/parts.
-
photoshop people....!
-
there goes the trd corolla/yaris.... they could've done a sporty little hot hatch to boost their sales..
-
for sure... but i asked them about the price for the roof, and its ridiculous! its cheaper to paint than use those guys....
-
check out advanced airbrush in minchinbury. i did work experience for them back in yr 10 when they were still at mtdruitt.
they do all the vinyl ads on buses n do a lot of custom airbrush jobs on pretty much anything you can apply paint on. ive never seen them do a carbon looking job though but it wont hurt to ask.
i was actually wondering the same thing the other week when i drove up to advanced airbrush to pick up their "how to airbrush" dvd...
black vinyl roof + hood... hmm..
thank you so much! you're so helpful! just checked their website and look promising!

Don't listen to all these ppl that tell you to buy a Toyota. Anyways, you should really be asking this question on somewhere like vwwatercooled.org.au or vwvortex. A bit more info would be of help too, like what model, is the clicking electrical or a rattle type noise over bumps. Just go back to your dealer, ask for the service manager, and have a bit of spit asking for it to be fixed properly.
yeah I dont want to buy a toyota. Had 2 Toyotas previously. i've asked in those 2 forums as well....

Hi guys,
I have a VW, and bought it brand new from a dealership.
recently about 3,500km i started hearing clicking noise coming from the sides (dashboard). I've been going back to the dealership for 3 times so far. Each time they give me the key, it has been fixed. then driving home that same day, id still be hearing the noise.
I'm pretty much had enough now. So what can/should do???? Obviously they wouldnt give me a new car... (i'll go back this monday to make a formal complain)
-
If i were you id be calling them till i get a sufficient amount of discount. obviously they gave you a cheaper set of rubber.
