  1. :o WOW.. u would hate to see my car wash routine.. or lack there of :( and the poor lil car with its scratches and dings.. it was doomed from the start.. i think it was only a week after i bought it.. a ute flicked up this big piece of metal sheet which came flying towards me.. luckily didn't hit my windscreen and smash into me, but i didn't notice until i got home that it scraped down the side of my drivers door and along the bottom of the car.. i was not happy :( and then some idiot threw an egg at it once and cracked all the paint from where it landed annnnnnnnd someone has opened a car door on to it :@

poor lil car... but im hoping to put a body kit on it soon and get everything fixed up :)

    1) I'm not the only female on here!! yaay

    2) and i now know where all the single guys my age, are hiding lol

ohh and im on the sunshine coast, qld. still waiting to find someone from the sunshine coast on here.. however i did only join yesterday.. but seem to be spending a lil too much time here already.. <_<

  5. I am after any recommendations for someone to fit a body kit and touch up some scratches, dents etc in either Bris or Sunshine Coast area's. Preferably someone that you have seen the work of.

while im on that subject... someone who can detail and buff as well.. as i think some of the scratches could be made to magically disappear :D

  6. With the rear wagon skirt there was a small amount of cutting but i had it done professionally and you cant tell. Cost of wagon rear skirt was around $490 . unpainted. You can also look at the c one front lip and side skirts they are expensive but it looks good. My toyota spare parts department ordered the front lip from Talon for me.check out the c one sedan at their website /www.c-one.co.jp/

The c-one's stuff is very nice.. :) would hate to see the price tho.. is there a c-one dealer in aus or something that you can order the parts from?

  7. Have you put the tyres on yet? as i just got quoted $198 fitted & balanced for Adrenalin from Jax Quick Fit. Thats for a 215x45xR17 but everyone else quoted around the $260 mark for them, apparenlty quick fit has a good deal with bridgestone atm and are passing the savings on.. not sure if it's just my local one tho!

  8. Hiiiiii, I'm new :) I have an 05 Corolla Ascent Sedan which has been lowered, 17" mags, sports exhaust, after market cruise control, JVC 2" DVD player, dynamat sound deadner, eclipse and pioneer stereo gear and hopefully soon it will have a nice lookin body kit! :D ohh and i live on the sunshine coast in qld.

  9. 4 years since the car was built and the shocks are leaking? does the car do hard track or hill work etc? what springs are in it and do they suit the travel of the stock shocks? 400 dollars with fitment is a fair bit! tyres over struts IMO

The car was brought new in Nov 05.. so its only a bit over 3 years old. The car doesn't really do track or hill work.. has been on few rough roads and that. and done approx 115 km's. Pretty sure it has King springs, and from what i have been told you can't get shorter struts for it.

I spoke to Jax Quick Fit and tested the shocks with his electronic machine... and they need replacing which is what i thought, but we decided they will last a bit longer yet.. and my tyres can go another 2000km's so i don't have to spend any money yet! yaaay!! :D

Red Roo Exhaust & Ultratune, reckon that 3 years and 80,000 km's you would be looking at replacing struts.. but no one else has said that..

  10. check out www.carmate.com.au

they should have some kits for your car. im not sure if they do shipping though but its a good start if youre on the lookout for kits.

    hope this helps.

Yeh i have had a look on there before.. and looks like they have some new things to choose from :D has anyone brought from car mate before? Do the kits fit ok? Are they good quality?

  11. Welcome being a sedan you can get the front lip and side skirts from toyota. Toyota did not make a rear skirt for the sedan but you can get a wagon skirt and cut to fit . i also have an 05 sedan it has a rear skirt from the wagon and a few other mods :D :D and a few to come :D :D there are some nice sedans here on the forum.

I am happy to get the side skirts from toyota, but i was hoping to find something a bit different than the toyota front bar. With the wagon skirt was there much cutting down to do? as i will have to get someone to do it for me and hope they do a good job of it!! :)

  12. Hey..

I have an 05 Corolla Ascent Sedan.. and I am wondering if anyone has replaced the rear struts in there's?

My car is lowered, only by springs.. but every time it gets serviced they tell me the struts are leaking. Pedders put it on their machine.. and the graph showed that they were stuffed, but i don't really notice any difference in the car. I have had quotes to replace them from 400 to 566, but I am also up for new tyres so I am trying to decide whether it is worth doing the struts now as well... or leave it for a bit longer, as they have been leaking for over a year now and everything seems fine.
