Hi, I have a 2002 Hilux single cab ute. Purchased it a week ago. If i run to work from home (5 km away) with the aircon on, the Bonnet is very hot to touch. If i run it without aircon, it is luke warm. The temp gauge remains the same (about half way) I noticed that there is no heat shied on the inside of the bonnet. Should there be? Is it normal for Hilux's bonnet to get so hot? Just a bit concerned thats all Cheers-

Hi, I have just purchased a 2002 2x4 Hilux tray back.(5sp manual) The paperwork says it is a "workmate" however, the workmates i have seen have a decal on the side stipulating such. How do i know mine is a workmate if no decal? and what actually is the dif between a workmate and a normal model? cheers- Sabre_c
