    look like a perspex window you can get the windows made here is oz as in dollar wise not sure they would have to cut to fit perspexs then laser print label dark sticker to stick on the perspex to say "Aurion" where the letters are lazer cut out to let light through.

    pretty similar to the design I made for Super Cheap for there Sony car audio display demo boards units i made australia wide.

    Bear in mind, during the GB, we had to have minimum numbers on the order, as we customized the engravings. They don't have 'Aurion' with them. Our models are called Camry.

    We tried for custom led version ones as well to say AURION but min was 500pcs to be purchased now that would be a a super aurion group buy lol

    Toyota's quality control has gone down the pits last few years and what they believed in "The Toyota Way" interesting read worth hiring the book from the libray

    It's inevitable that aspects of quality control would be degraded by Toyota's push in recent years to be the largest manufacturer globally, and even Akio Toyoda has admitted this. Quality is directly proportional to quantity, albeit some manufacturers more than others.

    On a side note, saw your car @ Kingswood a few days ago AUR3ON, going down Great Western Highway. I saw you as I was turning @ the lights from uni in the black facelift Aurion Sportivo, not sure if you saw me.

    I think I might of seen you - my car would of been all dirty too when you would of seen me lol

    just a bit of a revival here,

    has anyone with the ducktail here noticed that the double sided tape dettaches itself after a while exposed to rain? mine has, even thou i have a big bead of sikaflex underneath running along the centre of the spoiler... is this a cuase for concern? im thinking of sealing up the edges with clear silicone sealant...

    Just as I thought.. Hahah. I wonder if the existing holes of sportivo spoiler can be used to bolt on the ducktail.

    im not worried about it coming off, as its still solid on the boot, just dont like the idea of water getting into that area.. will silicone it up and see how it goes.

    sooo just to make sure yeah... im installing my lip spoiler soon and i really dont want it flying off while driving on a freeway LOL

    so sikaflex should do the job? what about something like liquid nails??

    Mine is double sided taped with few self tapper screws and now signs of it coming off but in saying that there is few variant duck spoiler which range in quality for fitment.

    my eyelids are also double sided taped and no signs of them falling off - I also fixed Stylusions ones after he had problems with them comming off.

    key thing clean the surface and use a good quality double sided tape and don't be shy with it :-)

    Aurion intermediate shaft spline

    Hi Mate,

    So I’ve had a quick look at the part numbers and both of those you have are "good" numbers:

    now 45250-06510 fits the Prodigy, Touring & Sportivo SX6

    Where as 45250-061520 fits Presara, Sportivo ZR6 and TRD 3500SL, Also HSD Camry also uses the Faster Aurion Rack too.

    Most obvious difference between them is one seems to fit all Smart start/entry cars and the other one fits those cars with out it.

    Now my best guess would be that the steering lock would be different on these cars, key and barrel on the right, starter button the left so the "pin" is probably on the opposite side to normal?

    Also the Shaft Assy,Steering intermediate 45220-06131 supersedes to 45220-06132 on all Aurion models

    Adamsy, If I have had a warranty replacment using the part 45220-06132 (Shaft Assy strg int) does that mean I don't need the 45250-06510 part replaced?

    I am experiencing the old knock that they seem to have temporarily fixed with the 45220-06132 (Shaft Assy strg int).

    Had mine replaced 1 week before warranty ran out

    hey guys making me blush now :-) yeah been good feels good to be back been working 2 jobs while mrs was on maternity leave she back at work so things should be back to normal now.

    had the steering spline shaft replaced on warranty - one wheel buckled cause mrs ran over big pot whole - but council will pay for that once i send them the bill.

    Aurion Paint Codes

    Sorry Stedyedy to hijack, but in regards to paint codes. the 061 diamond white paint code should be universal correct? but i went to my local auto store and requested for this 061 paint. they however did not have it in, but had "diamond white". The chap who helped me out looked up the toyota colours in there book, and for toyota...it said the diamond white colour code was completely different! Would the touch up paint labeld as "diamond white" be the same diamond white as 061? i called up toyota and they cant explain this either, they said it SHOULD be 061.

    on a side note, Stedyedy, thanks for your package mate. installed them yesterday and lovin the looks of it. much appreciated

    Yes 061 is the base colour but as the car ages etc the colour changes fading from sun and other comtaiments thats why the panel shop will start of with the base colour then mix other colours if needed to blend it in etc

    061 is international code as this maybe called pearl white, or other white from different paint manufactures for legal reasons

    Do you guys reckon these two are the same colour??

    Stedyedy - titan silver ....... your panel shop will know what there doing...... photo's are useless diffrent angles light levels, camera's , polish and it goes om. your compliance plate is right unless the person before you that owned the car resprayed it a different colour which I don't think they would go to that extreme on a newly car.

    Gentlemen,

    Apologies for delayed post but i have had what everyone dreads the "PC Virus" been trying to salvage most of my info etc.

    going back to topic, the good quality boot oem spoiler are out of stock which indicates they all come from this one factory.

    10 day before there in stock again.

    but what i can do is get the v2 VIP grills which are a soft abs plastic design in within 5 day and the costs will be about $75 or less landed to Sydney.

    I'm not sure what they will cost shipped to other states but you can always share the postage costs if other member are in the same state.

    let me know what you guys want to do?

    Dave- I coudn't see it being problem.
