  1. the wheels are made by s a company called tennzo lenso sports. but it is still made by lenso. i think this and a few other rims just have a different name. i found these on the tempe tyres website and i rang them up. the wheels are gonna come in mid next week and im gona go and chek it out to see how it looks. these rims come in gold, black and charcoal grey(above). i wanted the black ones but tempe wont be ordering any so might just have to settle with the charcoal grey. i had a look on there website and they do fit the corolla. stud pattern 4x100 offset +42 there $1200 with tyres and lock nuts. might get better tyres though.

For me the charcoal grey would look best on a black stivo. Not a fan of the all black look.

  2. WTF does asian have to being a tight ****???

i used to work at JB (& strathfield), but that was in Geelong. Just go to different places like GtiRBoy said. dont bother with ringing places with prices, you will have to go see in and them.

Oh and you may get an awesome price, but you will have to work for it or be real nice to a salesperson. Or get lucky. Also dont pay anything near retail price, Car audio has a decent markup. Sales can be good though! good luck.

End of the line you will have to put some effort into getting a good price. It will be near impossible to get "Mates Rates" from somebody you dont know. Hell I wouldnt give a good price straight off the bat unless they were a personal friend, or a REAL good friends mate.

  3. Thankyou all for the info,

Hexx- What sort of LOC are you using? Whats the bass like, and have you totally lost your rear speakers

I think it was an aerpro brand. Nothing fancy.

The bass is good, adds a lot. But not VERY deep. Heaps of improvement so don't worry.

Didn't notice any loss of power to the back speakers. I connected it in Parallel (from the center pillar before it goes out to the rear door) so there shouldn't be any loss. Just loads up the stock cd player amp.

    go for it mate.

  4. You are better off paying a forum member who has done this before over getting someone from Strathfield or JB to do it for you IMO.

Ive worked at both JB and Strath. Trust me when i say this, they can both have average installers or decent. The way it is these days, its hit and miss. But most do a decent job, if your not happy, take it back and ask to speak to the installer (politely). But I know they get a bad wrap from all the bull**** that flies around these forums. Most of it is hear-say.

That being said, id get a GOOD forum member or mate to do it for ya, you can help out and learn how to do it.

BTW ive put a amp & sub in my stivo and it makes a BIG difference compared to stock, but you will get a more profound difference if you went with a new headunit too.

    Good luck!
