Down shift until I stop. The Car brakes in a shorter distance, ready to accelerate again and also less reliant on brakes alone to slow down. Same reason I highly prefer a manual over an auto.

Over time wouldnt this put much more wear on the clutch unless you were rev-matching each time(heal & toe)? Also its more work for no real gain.

Just the way I see it.

Brake first to slow down to desire speed, then clutch in to shift to appropriate gear or shift to neutral for complete stop. Try not to press clutch 1st then brake.

Pretty much what i do. Sometimes i might shift 1 gear down to keep the revs above 500-1000 rpm if needed.

Did replacing the head unit only make it sound much better?

Do you know what program they use to edit pics?

I think they use photoshop. Looking at a tutorial they get a basic outline from a real pic of the car then add layers of colours/textures.

Between about 6000-8000 RPM the cams change on the sportivo engine, giving a surge in power.

Google VVTL-i in google and you will find some more info.

Oh did u get the sportivo?

The other models have a different engine so they dont have lift.

bangn unless youve owned an fto you wouldnt know i have and Im 100% sure my old fto would beat my new stivo on the straight and in corners and for a six cylinder it wasnt that fast at all just revvy that and its awesome sound made you feel like you were going fast but at the end of the day fto is a shocking car compared to the stivo ,insurance was so high for the fto i nearly had a heart attack and parts were dear being an import and hard to find and when i bought mine ftos were selling for around 16k for good condition stock form 2 years later when i sold it they dropped to like 12 to 13 and ive seen them go for 9 or 10 they are just really good for thrashing on a track until it blows not a keeper like toyota.

Join the club. In two and half months (yeah im counting) im gettin my licence back after a 12 month suspension.

I got done on a highway doin 147 in a 70. Damn lift made me do it i tells ya!! Dont think i'll be doing anything like that again. But i tell ya what, im so much fitter after riding for almost a year. Like you i only had my brand new stivo for 3 months.

There are not many other Stivo's around this area. Feels good to be different.
