Hi Mel We have the 2006 rav which is wider and sadly there is no way we can three across. Oh dear! Thanks Dazzler - although not what I was hoping to hear, at least I know. Still, if there is anyone else out there who has managed this I would love to know! a friend of mine (doesn't have a Rav but a Hyundai something or other) She had to buy narrow seats to fit in her toddler and two baby twins. Don't know about the '06 Rav. Might be worth going to Babies Galore or something. Surely someone's conered the market with smaller seat. Good luck. BTW we have a '99 Rav and got the SnS Maxi Rider and a rear facing seat and there's no way we could even fit a thought between those two seats let alone another seat AAARRGH!
