  1. Ok. Thanks to some help from Fred and my friend who just help me with the soldering. :) I made up this rough photo instructions on how to install the headrest monitors! I must say its awesome to have the 9" screens! How to Install Headrest monitors Bruster, the red wire goes with red. The black goes with black or white (with black strip) which is the ground wire.
  2. Thanks for the tips guys! I drive the brand new Aurion Touring Edition. I took the factory fitted Toyota GPS unit from my 2 year old Corolla because I don't want to pay for $4500 for it. Therefore the GPS unit I got is 2 years old. I ask the company that SecaBoy recommended. My GPS unit is not suitable for the one latest unit they got which has the USB port. The main company in the USA seems to be much cheaper than the Australian retailer. I'm trying to find out how much is the shipping cost.
  3. Thanks for the quick response SecaBoy! I rang up Toyota Parts Northbridge and they told me they got a cable that cost $80+ but not sure if it allows the driver to control the songs or playlist from the GPS screen or steering wheel controls. I didn't think the interface kit can be so expensive.
  4. Hi, Does anyone knows if there is an iPod/iPhone Interface Kit for Toyota GPS? This allows the steering wheel controls or via the GPS touch screen to play the songs you like and control your iPod/iPhone from there. If you do have it, how much did it cost and also the installation fees. Cheers!
  5. Hey Davo! Did you managed to do it?
  6. Great Work Freddo! I'm thinking of getting the 9" ones. XTRONS HD903. I hope the screen resolution is good. Its weird that their own official website is more expensive than their ebay store. Got a few questions for you. How did you get the wire through the seat? just shove it in? :) Do you need to disconnect the seat because there are the side airbags on the seats that I'm afraid I might trigger off? How did you connect to the 12V power socket? soldering? Did you connect to the power socket in the middle console or the cigarette lighter? Anything I should know before attempting to install? Thank you.
  7. Wow. I just bought mine at $34,390. That includes darkest legal tint, floor mats, boot liner and the cost transfer of my GPS unit from my Corolla. I think they can still go lower than that. I should have asked them include a new Toyota map v15 for my GPS unit. Damm I forgot! However this is Perth prices which cars are generally be more expensive than Eastern states. u54mot, what's the model of your Aurion? Presara?
