  1. Hey guys. Im trying to work out what weight oil to use in my 2002 Hiace SBV. The low oil light came on today and i don't have the cash for a full service until next month so i was just planning on topping it up until then. I dont have a manual for the van so im hoping someone would be able to tell me what SAE oil to use? Cheers Pat
  2. Lol yea, it does the trick for now, but soon enough ill have a box for the twelve inch sub running from side to side behind the seats, with the amps mounted on that. I'm working on idea's and plans for a rail system in the back that will allow me to slide in various shelf's and racks etc etc as i please, to make it fully customizable for working during the week to going away riding on the weekends. Pat
  3. Hey guys. My names Patrick, I'm 18, I'm a mate of Rob's (or lift as i think he is called here?) and I've met a few of the other Canberra members on occasion. I work as an electrician (third year apprentice) I don't drive anything exciting, just an 02 model Hiace SBV. It's got the sound system treatment, Front splits, DVD player and sub, new 120L SQ box is currently in the works though, its all pretty temporary and ghetto at the moment. As any van owner does there's dreams and plans of airbags and pimpage etc etc but most of my plans for it revolve around work and getting the bikes from A to B at the moment. Anyway, that's more or less it. Nothing to flash :P Please don't hate me to much for the amp "mountings" its all only temporary as i said. :P Cheers, Pat
  4. Hey guys. Having trouble with my gearbox in the van. its a 02 Hiace SBV. When the vans off it shifts between gears reasonably well with the clutch in, but when the van is running shifting from neutral to any gear is neigh on impossible. Someone suggested it might need new transmission fluid? When it comes to car gearbox's its not something i have any experience in. The clutch is hydraulic and appears to use the same fluid as the brake booster, and its full so i think I'm right to cross that off my list. As the van didn't come with a manual, does anybody know what kind and how much fluid these box's need? Any other suggestions? cheers, Pat
