  2. Hey guys I am having trouble changing the time on my radio. It's been almost a week since daylight savings but I have stll yet to figur out a way to adjust the time. I flipped through the manual, and all I found was how to change the time on dash bu not the one on the radio. I tried all buttons on the radio but still couldn't find the right buttons. Sorry if this has been asked n answered in anther thread but I can't seem to be able to find anything by using the 'search' function. Would really reallY appreciate it if someone could help me out here. Thanks heaps!
  3. 225/45/17 is the ideal size. you can choose whatever brand, thread patterns you like according to your budget.
  4. Stock Eibach Pro Kit Looks like Eibach Pro Kit does lower the ZRE series by 1.4" front and 2.0" rear. Thanks xpyyy for the picture.
  5. just checked out eibach.com and it says eibach pro kit lowers the ZRE by 1.4" (35mm) Front and 2.0" (50mm) Rear http://eibach.com/cgi-bin/htmlos.exe/03323...623859300030892 i have always been under the impression that pro kit drops our car by a mere 1" - 1.1" front and back? can someone shed some light on this? also, would love to see some pics of ZRE with Eibach Pro Kit on. thanks.
  6. awesome. i am not too concerned about price. i just want something that makes my car sits level (without lowering it TOO much) and something that gives me a comfortable ride. if height adjustable coilovers can provide 'comfort comparable to stock', then coilovers it is for me. thanks everyone for the help!
  7. i was asking for spring rates but thanks..
  8. anyone has any idea what are the spring rates for stock corolla springs and tte lowering springs? thanks.
  9. I want to lower my 2008 corolla hatch and get my car to sit level front and back.. but i want to keep it as comfortable as stock as possible.. which of the following will achieve this? 1, King Low (front) + King Super Low (back) 2, Eibach Prokit + Koni/Bilstein/KYB AGX 3, Coilovers (HKS or Tein?) Thanks in advance.
  10. sorry i am new to cars and i do not know much about springs and suspensions so please forgive me if the question that i am about to ask is just plain stupid. how do we 'make them to a drop you request'? i thought king low springs are not adjustable and the only other option that we have is to cut springs and we are not supposed to do that as its dangerous and it affects ride quality?
  11. hey guys where can i get a pair of those rear colour coded mudguards for my white 08 ascent hatch? i rang toyota and they said they only sell those rubber mud flaps which are not colour coded. i have seen quite a few cars have those colour coded ones installed and they look good so yeah if you know where to get them, please kindly let me know. Thanks.
  12. Thanks guys. Really appreciate it. I will go with Eibach pro kit then.
  13. Guys, which springs give the least drop? Eibach Pro-Kit, Lovells Sports Low, OR Kings Low? I have a 08 Corolla. I know most springs lower the car by 25mm-40mm. But i am hoping to stay closer to the 25mm end. Please advise. Thanks.
  14. if u r doing 6cm drop all round, the side skirt and the ground are never going to be parallel. you probably have to drop the rear by 2cm more... or lift the front by 2cm so that your car will sit level. that's what i am hoping to do. i have a brand new corolla with stock suspension. the back of the car sits about 2-3cm higher than the front and it really bothers me a lot. the sight of the uneven gap is driving me nuts. i called different stores, spoke to a number of different specialists and decided to have the rear lowered by 1 inch by using Eibach springs. hopefully the car will sit level after this tiny change. and hopefully by lowering the back only will not put my car at higher risks of mechanical problems.
  15. if i dun lower the front, just the back by 30mm, is it going to affect my car in anyway? having a car with lots of problems couple of years down the road is probably the last thing i need. thanks in advance.
  16. the gap between tyre and guard is about 4 fingers for front but the ones at the back is about 3-4cm more. is tthat the same for everyone else? wat did u do bout it? if i lower my car by 3cm all round, its not gonna do anything to balance the front n rear is it? if i lower the front by 2cm, back by 4cm, is it going to have negative effects on the car or tyres in the long run?
  17. guys, i need your opinion. is this going to look good on a white 2008 toyota corolla ascent hatch? i know people will say this is a huge purchase and i shouldn't care what others think but i really dont want to have a set of wheels that noone else likes except me and myself. thanks.
  18. YBHVE4, how much drop was it? i am thinking of lowering my car too and yours look perfect to me. nice work.
