? ive never had a prob with the stock shift never crunch or miss gear etc. any1 have a short shifter for sale in brissie??

thx M_M if got a spare standard shifter. i guess i could cut a inch off and try get it re-threaded?? c what happens, i really dont want the trd Short shift feel just want the height to b smaller. as we all no the sportivo shifter height is pretty high

hey im wanting my shifter to b shorter. i thought bout the trd short shift kit but thought against it as im driving my sportivo as a daily. has any1 been able to achieve this without putting trd kit in? i no the factory knob is pretty huge wondering if putting smaller knob on would make it look slighty shorter?

also a squeeking rotational noise from RHF.. obv increases with speed but completely stops even with the slightest touch of the brake pedal????

Yeah I don't come to a stop when bedding in. I'm gonna try machining rotors again and get new pads .. Cause I think the guy who machined them didn't use a brush to dust off the metal particals etc. So the pads may have picked up the metal???

basically heavy braking at 20, 40 , 60. so ABS would activate

well its only started happening with the new pads and machined rotors.. i guess it doesnt happen every single time i pull up but is very noticeable esp in the stop start morning traffic.. very loud creaking! also can feel through pedal sumtimes

yeah i bedded them in correctly.. been in for about 2 weeks now so id say they r bedded in by now lol.. i no the SA brakes are sh#thouse maybe thats the prob?? whats a good aftermarket option thanks oh can also hear a slight rotational noise at low speeds.. checked backing plate not rubbing etc?????

hey , so i installed brand new genuine toyota pads and had my front rotors machined. now at low speed just before the car stops a terrible Creaking type noise is coming from mainly the RHF. ive checked everything is tight, sitting correctly. just wondering if any1 has had a similar prob? what u guys think of genuine pads. esp these crap SA sportivo brakes!!!!!! cheers

im only goin 18x7.5 i think.. so shouldnt b a problem. and ive got superlow springs if i have 2 i guess ill get the guards rolled

prob looking at spending around $5000 , thats the sc kit, prob just piggy back ECU etc im a mechanic so ill b fitting the kit myself so hope to save $ that way. plus tune etc

surley other exhaust places do the same job, i mean i got quoted a 2.5 mandrel bent , custom muffler set up for around 500. any1 had theres done elsewhere? and r happy with it ? also with gains

hey looking at getting a catback system for my sportivo, lots of good talk about the company CES at meadowbrook, but i was wondering if i should get ces to do it, or would most other places do the same job for less money, would i b making a mistake getting it done else where?????
