lol, nevermind. i ended up paying an auto electrician $60 to get it removed.

hey guys, when i bought my car, it came with immobiliser. yesterday, the remote wouldnt disarm it and so i thought it may have been flat batteries on the remote. i replaced them but to no avail. i ended up being stuck at the carpark because it wouldnt let me turn on the ignition. i tried: -disconnecting the neg battery -using the key for the alarm horn i dont know which brand or model the immobiliser is but i saw that it was made in china. any ideas on what i can do to get my car back on the road? or are there any cheap auto electricians in metro melbourne? cheers

hey guys just wondering what decent exterior and interior mods i can do to my st184. im currently looking for clear side indicators and clear front bar indicators. anybody know where i can find these in melbourne? im open to suggestions, post pics of what you guys have in/on your cars (doesnt have to be st184). cheers !

yeah, its on max brightness. each button's led works ie. the 5 buttons for modes, rear demister. but its just the fan dial and cool/hot dial which should be lit up, i think the bulb is dead or something.

ive taken the dashboard out before but i when i did that, the whole thing didnt come off, it was stuck at where the heater/cooling controls were. i took out every screw i could see. maybe theres a hidden one somewhere?

hey guys, when i got my car, i didnt really know that the heating/cooling controls were meant to illuminate at night. silly right? but a friend used to have my car and he tripped out because it was so dim. apparently you're meant to be able to see the fan dials, cold/hot dials, etc. is there an easy way of replacing the bulbs to make them work again? 1992 celica sx 5s-fe cheers !

hey guys, i still havent really had a chance to do this properly. I havent really found the right parts to do it. lol im such a n00b. but anyway, would buying a cheap pod filter from supercheap or autobarn help me to achieve the awesome intake sound? or is what you pay is what you get? to be honest, i don't mind about anything performance wise but i was looking to get that nice suction sound. would the plastic thing thats also connected to the hose (ive been told its some chamber that quietens the induction noise) affect my chances of achieving the sound or no? sorry guys, i probably sound like an idiot but thanks heaps for those who have checked this thread out. :D but yeah, i've been looking at getting a 3A racing power stack filter. apparently it outdone k&n, trust, apexi and other brands at filtration and air flow (autosalon 2007 or something lol) is this worth buying? cheers guys !

i ended up mounting it behind on 1 of the backseats that fold down. seems secure enough.
