It was a long time ago and my memory is a bit hazy. I do recall having to get underneath and manouvering the alternator around the front of the motor and getting it out from the right hand side. Hope that helps.

Hello, just got a question regarding replacing the alternator on a 99 hiace rzh113 with 2rz-e motor. I have replaced alternators on a few cars before and it was quite simple. On this one it looks like I have to remove the power steering pump and reservoir at a minimum. Anyone else done this and can offer some handy hints ??????
