Hi all, Thanks for your comments, At the moment I'm racing in timed events which attract all sorts of cars, mainly road cars. Ive only had the car for about a 3 weeks and have entered it in 1 Motorkana, which is a series of short twisty tracks marked out by witches hats, where handbrake turns are a must for good times. This weekend I will be entering in Lap Sprints at Hidden Valley, and these are timed laps where I nominate a time and receive points according to how close I am to my time without going under it. These events are over four laps and usually 3 races a meet. I think the motor is pretty close to a standard 2.0 litre, not too sure of its history, but I know it has been built to race in modified production car class. Will find out how hard it goes on the weekend and by the way the airstrip isn't really for high speed runs its a bit rough for that, its mainly used for the Motorkana's.
