it was a heater hose under the distributor that had burst and was spraying coolant onto the distributor

got same problem plus more atm with my hilux, seems like the distributor is causing overheatin gproblem in coil pack resistor seems ok but gets superhot to touch... any help >

hi guys, im going get my first car. i still wavering between non turbo supra, fto and dc5 normal edition. which one is better . because of fto and supra already get 10yeas old, thus i concern about the maintain fees. is there anyone have supra? does it have any problem? i appreciate for any hlep

if money was no problems i would get a vtec twin turbo :)

its Big red 81 Hilux with few rust bucket and black tray at back.

-currently starting but when accelerate it would turn off.

-RAA guy told me its Distributor or could be something more sinister but my coil pack and resister goes superhot which he thinks isnt normal and needs to be checked, otherwise car would be good work horse.

also other things needs attention

-bald tyres

-hasnt been running for almost 2 years

-charge Led would flicker when starting the car. (and keep flickering for couple mins before going off)

-Brakes isnt working very well i think master cyclinder is gone.

otherwise car has big tray, sports bar, heavy duty tow bar, lift kit, good suspension, would be fun off roader or worker.
