My names Levi Vu from Adelaide, SA. Hello i am new poping by, just got a car which has a few problems i need to fix but overall its one of those things i always wanted as a kid :) its Big red 81 Hilux with few rust bucket and black tray at back. -currently starting but when accelerate it would turn off. -RAA guy told me its Distributor or could be something more sinister but my coil pack and resister goes superhot which he thinks isnt normal and needs to be checked, otherwise car would be good work horse. also other things needs attention -bald tyres -hasnt been running for almost 2 years -charge Led would flicker when starting the car. (and keep flickering for couple mins before going off) -Brakes isnt working very well i think master cyclinder is gone. otherwise car has big tray, sports bar, heavy duty tow bar, lift kit, good suspension, would be fun off roader or worker.
