Hi guys, I toke my stock Sportivo (05 model) out last night to WSID for a change as I did the clutch in my Clubsport at the drags a few meets ago. no access to scanner, but time was 60' - 2.335 330'-6.494 660'-9.885 1000'-12.800 ET-15.287 MPH- 90.45 Top speed was down This was my 4th pass. Other passes in the 15.3-15.5 range. My fasted MPH pass was 91.33 @ 15.358 ?? What revs are people dropping it off the line. On a few passes I could not get off the line due to wheelspin and axle tramp. ???What revs are you guys shifting gears, as I am not getting the top end speed. Also, as the car is shared with my wife, and does a heap of highway (M4) km's, so not hitting 6000+revs very often, would the computer be changing its performance/settings so when I do hammer it, I am not getting the result I would if I hammered it everyday? Thanks xGSiR for the welcome, I ended up paying $27,500 on the road inc. Alarm upgrade and mats. It was invoiced mid november, so I think a good price at the time (compared to prices I see people now getting - $25k). It is the endless circle - when do you get on, as the price may always drop, but you may also miss out. I am happy, just taking it easy till the 2000km's mark before I start giving it some. My other car is a HSV Clubsport, but too dam expensive to run. I like the car, just needs a little more - lowered, window tint. When/where is the monthly meet? Hey evl 50a - I am out Penrith way.

I finally put my name against a New Sportivo. Can't wait to get it. Does anyone know of a good Window Tint shop in Atarmon or Penrith areas? Dealer wanted to charge $500+ for tint. If anyone is buying, I would recommend Chatswood Toyota followed by Penrith. I found Chatswood were a little easier to deal with straight off the bat for price, but Penrith could offer the same after some hard haggling. Does anyone in sydney have any good prices on insurance? Mainly interested in prices below $900. Thanks Jason

Anyone know how much the Lowered Spring set is for Sportivo? Is there any market for 2nd hand springs - just if I buy the lowered springs - can I sell the originals which will have limited use?

Some mor questions for you What alarm system should I get. So far the dealer has given me an option of a standard upgrade for $295 and then the next up is $495, which I believe has usual sensors. How much is a Sunroof? How much do people pay on the street for Tint? And any recomendations? Thanks heaps for the info. Hopefully by Monday I have my name on a Sportivo. Will let you know how I go. Going seeking tomorrow, from what some of the dealers are saying, there are still new stocks in their holding yards, so we have a few weeks yet before they dry up. PS. Hi, I am looking to buy a Sportivo this weekend. Car looks great for the price. What options do people recommend? How much is the Sunroof? I also am buying through leasing company (www.novalease.com.au) on a Novated lease, but they do give me the freedom to buy from any dealer so I can shop for the best price.
