  1. So you just bought a used AE101 and one of the rear bulbs has blown and you don't have a manual. This is how you remove the rear blinker assembly. This describes the sedan procedure but it might also work on a hatchback. This is very easy. 1. Remove all visible screws from the assembly. 2. With gentle persuasion pull it out rearwards. 3. Remove the faulty bulb by unscrewing the socket, usually a half turn. 4. Thats it.. Cya
  2. This is how you remove a stock fujitsu stereo from a 98 corolla AE101. Before you begin a quick tip - Be gentle - never use force... 1. The only two visible screws on the center panel are above the ashtray. They secure the bottom section of the panel into the dash. Remove them. Also pull all the knobs off the fan and vent controls. 2. Gently pull out the bottom panel just slightly, not all the way out as this can damage the plastic. You should now see two manganese plated screws securing the top section of panel. Remove them. 3. The only thing left holding the top panel into the dashboard are four small clips and with a little persuasion they will release. Gently pull on the top section of panel one corner at a time. It should come loose of the dashboard. Unplug the two harnesses and the top section should be free. 4. Remove the 4 screws holding the stereo and unhook the harnesses and ariel plug. Thats it If you have trouble check out the following site for pictures and more info. http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/showthre...7597#post757597 For useful info on Toyota Wiring Check Out http://www.installdr.com/Harnesses/Toyota-Wiring.pdf Cya
