I have a 93 toyota corolla, manual transmission. I have a leak coming from the transmission where the axle goes into it. I think its the seal. I was wondering if someone could tell me how to replace the seal. Can I just take the axle out and pull the seal out, or do I have to take off the transmission case cover to get to the seal? Any help would be great. Thanks

I have a 93 Toyota Corolla. The noise is off and on. It happens on the straight and turns the same. It seems to get louder when I have the clutch in and Im coasting. I thought it was the axle so I changed it. But its still happening. It sounds like something is knocking against the axle as it spins. Can anyone tell me what this might be? Thanks Josh

My car is a 93 Toyota Corolla. I thought the noise might be the axle so I replaced it. The sound is still there. It happens randomly as Im driving. Different intensity at different times. Its no worse when I turn corners. It happens all the same as I am going straight. Sometimes it gets louder then I take it out of gear and just coast. I have no idea what it is. Any help would be great. Thanks
