I have a 93 Toyota Corolla. The noise is off and on. It happens on the straight and turns the same. It seems to get louder when I have the clutch in and Im coasting. I thought it was the axle so I changed it. But its still happening. It sounds like something is knocking against the axle as it spins. Can anyone tell me what this might be? Thanks

My car is a 93 Toyota Corolla. I thought the noise might be the axle so I replaced it. The sound is still there. It happens randomly as Im driving. Different intensity at different times. Its no worse when I turn corners. It happens all the same as I am going straight. Sometimes it gets louder then I take it out of gear and just coast. I have no idea what it is. Any help would be great. Thanks

I have a 93 toyota corolla, manual transmission. I have a leak coming from the transmission where the axle goes into it. I think its the seal. I was wondering if someone could tell me how to replace the seal. Can I just take the axle out and pull the seal out, or do I have to take off the transmission case cover to get to the seal? Any help would be great. Thanks
