  1. Just wondering, has anybody tried to position their muffler in the middle of the rear bumper (for example mini cooper and the astra SRi) i've had a look under a mini and their mufflers are basically on the sides, with a pipe going to the middle of the bumper with the exhaust tip sitting there.

will there be potential power loss in doing this?

Possibly. More bends in the exhaust means extra restriction to exhaust flow.

The difference however, would be almost unoticeable.

  2. Are you fecking serious. I park the stivo ALL THE TIME at padstow train station lol

Thanks guys, the 200 doesn't actually "feel" as quick as the MPS due to it having a 5 speed and laggy turbo. ALso prob down on torque compared to the MPS, which we all know makes a car feel quick. But the 200 is putting down a safe 185rwkw (approx 230kw at fly) so it goes alright.

Strawberryface - you MUST have seen an Aurora Blue Mazda 3 MPS parked at the base level of the multi-storey, it has MPS stickers all over it and i think i have seen your Stivo on quite a few occassions, if the white one with an exhaust mod is yours? ;)

Car was stolen from Banks St. though, next to the platform. I sometimes do arvo shifts so the multi-storey would be full.

Hey mate i definitely do remember it, and even my old man says he does. Yer the white stivo is mine :-)

Now i know why i haven't seen it lately...such a shame, it was a really nice car too.

    GL with your 200 though!!

  3. thanks for the find dave, i'm still undecided as to stick with springs or coils..

perhaps i should stick with TRD springs @ $555.00 a set as changing the original suspension will dramatically affect my warranty..

I ring toyota australia, they set that changing to any aftermarket components will void the part that you change and any parts that are directly linked and affected. This includes TRD parts.

So getting TRD parts will void your suspension warranty.

interesting, TRD/TOYOTA dealers will beg to differ. Call Castle Hill Toyota, they'll tell you otherwise.

Yeh castle hill all pulling **** out of their ****.

  4. So much talking here and not enough walking.

Its nice to so that Sleeper is doing the walking :-).

Nice results man. I've come to a divide where i don't know whether or not to continue modding the stivo or go over to the darkside of honda's.

Its cars like yours that inspire me to keep modding the stivo.

  5. Hey i'm really considering this Supercharger kit, especially after being beat by a 90's saab 9000 this morn (although i did miss lift in second, time 4 another clutch adjustment i think). Anyway so emabarressed, laugh it up guys.

Cooder: Well, there's no shame in being beaten by the best.

    Spud: But, he didn't seem..

Cooder: (angrily) We were beaten by the best, boy.

  6. That thing that you have circled in your photos doesn't look right. When I was looking at the injen/aem ones, they never had that extra hole to block off.

You sure you got the right one ?

Whoops, you've got the right one. Looks like injen changed the design...

hahaha. i like this roundabout way of saying that Falcon and Comodore drivers are yobos! hahaha

Well I had VL, VR, VS Commodores then an AU falcon that got traded on an Aurion!

    maybe i am a yobbo?

Just out of curiosity, why did you get an AU Falcon to start with?

    lmao
