  1. haha Farnsworth FTW! :D

Im thinking a bbq would be better suited provided weather is ok. Doesnt take much to throw a few snags on. Allow for 2 sausages and bread per person. So get around 50 snags

and have a small 50c donation for each sausage... Money can go to the person who buys the snags and what not.

All you need is sausages, bread, tongs and oil. Easy done. Good way to socialise too.

    What are others thoughts?

  2. I say we all meet in diamond creek again. Half way point for those on the west side. Cruise up to kinglake again then back down through yarra glen and out to dandenongs from there. That way we can have a bit of a drive before lunch and get to skyhigh around 1ish anyways. It takes like 15mins to get to skyhigh from thousand steps (the original start/meet).

Have a meet time around 930-10 and depart at around 1030. Lunch at skyhigh and then head off to maybe emerald lake park and go from there....

What are others thoughts on this??

  3. there is a lot of parking at skyhigh. whether or not you get the parking that has the view is a diferent story.

Can get quite busy there. Worst comes to worst, there is heaps of parking arund the back. Oh and skyhigh food is

really expensive :( Should be a great day anyhow. Hopefully the weather holds up for us :D

  4. ahh no faith! it is pvc, yes. Only from where you can see, to the pod. Silicon elbow off the turbo to the rubber flex pipe. Its all safe! and its not intercooler piping. Id never make pvc piping for the intercooler!

Its all secured and not in the way of anything and not just hangin off the turbo! Im not stupid :P

  5. Update: New CAI that I made up yesterday with the help from karllos :)! Sounds the same as the last, just a little quieter!

Megan didn't really like the sound of turbo spool lol. I do admit, it was very loud. With the other setup, the pipe was rubbing

on the side of the radiator and was going to cause a hole.

  6. UPDATE: Made up a cai for the car using the existing pipe that comes off the turbo. Added a striaght joiner for the turbo end and a 90 Degree reducing silicone elbow for the other end. Pod sits nicely inside the guard just behind the fog light. Flutters like mad now as it doesnt have the standard plumb back bov on it. Well add a youtube video up soon of what it sounds like!!

  7. at least they agreed to paint them again free of charge! I'd like to know how those panel shop guys fix that hail damage. yours wasnt too bad, but the dude i live with, his car is stuffed!

  8. What a fantastic day it turned out to be! Megan and I had such a great time meeting you all. Those roads were just awesome! I haven't done something like that in a long time!! Good choice Tash! ;) Next time i'll bring out the rexy and give you all a run for your money hahaha!! JK! Should have brought it out, would have done it some good :)

Thanks again to tash for the organising! Its always a hard thing to do!

Hope to see you all again soon at the next meet or just out on the roads!

Look out for WREXXY too :D

  9. Thanks again guys!

Karllos: Havent had any issues yet and i hope we dont come across any, lol! The car has done 150xxxkms and my missus is the 2nd owner. Couple before us had since brand new and the husband used to work at toyota. So majority of services has been done at toyota.

Have you had some issues with yours? I hear parts are hard to get and expensive maybe, depending on what the problems are.

She doesn't want to do much with the car. I just suggested 2.5" cat back (getting done tomorrow :D), a good cold air intake, lowered, and rims.

Ive seen soulsearchers car and that was the first thing i noticed, the rims hehehe! Im so happy with mine as they are 100% suited to my rex!
