Brian, mike, and sam... i should thank you guys for coming! ^_^ and next time will be more interesting. u all have my respect... what get u good lap times is not ur sportivo.... i think its ur driving that make a good lap time... ^_^ with bald tyres still took those corner madly.... i've seen mike lift off a couple of time, and brian playing with a dirt and sam just taligating everyone... well done guys... i bet not many other sportivo can make the lap time like urs... if u run on semis, i reckon u guys can get low 1:42... i cant catch up and i have to settle with 1:51 for now ^_^ hopefully next time i can be a worthy opponent... i need to improve alot on my driving ^_^ i spent more time off the track then on the track... lol... i guess i belong in the mountains.... :P anyway... its so addictive, and i cant wait till i go back there and race again...

* the fastest recorded laptime was STEVEN, with DC2 typeR jap spec... orange colour.... but he use Desmond's timing device (civic EF), thats why his time is under desmond's name.... it was a great day... i was so nervous and stressed at the start but everything turns out ok... my first time organising such big event... but its fun fun fun... i spun out 10 times or more... lol... thx for all everyone that supporting this event! i'll have the next one organised soon... will let u guys know... regards, Silas

Hi everyone, this is a track day... not a competiton race.... lol most of the time you will be by yourself on the track... unless you're really2 fast or really2 slow, you wont meet another driver.... this is how it works 28 ppl divide into 4 group.... thats mean 7 ppl in one group.... 7 cars on a big track like winton means fun.... also winton is good for 4 cylinder, coz its not a high speed track... its more cornering than high speed manouver.... we wont start together from the starting grid, one car start at the time from the pit, with one corner interval (the next car start after the car before him finish one corner).... and each run i limit to 7 laps coz most of us are first timer and mildly modded or even stock.... our brake will fade after 7 laps and our tyre will over heat.... no tailgating, each car should maintain the safe distance.... no overtaking on the corner.... i know it doesnt sound fun... but we want to do fun track day... and i cant risk it by any dangerous stun perform by a newbie.... you might think you know what you're doing, but every pro driver can crash... this is for all of us to practice, improve our skills, make new friends, and above all, have lots of fun.... as long as everyone participate well and respect each other, we'll be fine.... everyone will get at least 3 runs (3x7laps) so 21laps each person.... the rest of the time, we're going to use it for either another 7laps for each group, or each individual car doing 2 hot laps alone (basically you by yourself on the whole track, and we compare the best time) hope that changed your view about track day... regards, silas

sorry IZZ-FE, no helmet hire.... you'd have to borrow it somewhere... or buy the cheap on sale bike helmet like mine :P $90 i think.... thats new one.... the list will fill up.... :P so far i got 39 definite interest... but no deposit yet.... i said to them who put in the deposit first reserve the place.... and few others this morning from ozhonda.... and a possible group of drift cars also will join us to entertain for the day... so we can watch some drifting during the break.... i'm still arrangin with them remember guys, this is non-profit open event.... so you all can make suggestion for that day.... EXE have organised 4 cruise, 3 drag days, and 6 mountain night drive.... but this is our first Track event organising.... we'll need alot of feedback and suggestion.... so far the respond are very2 good, but i WILL NOT put any names on the list if the havent paid.... some of the very first ppl that contacted me like banGn n his mates got some exception coz we got not much respond at that time... but due to a large number of emails that i got after this few days, i decided to put the name on the list only ppl that already paid... i've finish print all the flyers, and will start spread them this weekend.... regards, silas

yep.... let me know... thx alot banGn... ^_^ for organise the toyota boys.... let me know.... hehehe, i will group you guys in the same group... so you cant bully us :P jk jk.... lets decide the group later.... i need the deposit and ppl that are willing to do some tracking... tuesday is harder, i know.... so is any other weekday... but weekend rate is $5500plus for whole day and most of the weekend is booked for race events.... anyway, thats why i organise this more than 1 month in advance, so ppl that turn up is only the ones that really want to do track day, and will do anything to do a track day... like me! hehehehe... i have fulltime job, but i will take a dayoff or sickie.... i'll do it no matter what... an remember one thing... its better spend it here than $200 speeding fine... we had great fun with u guys on heathcote last time... hopefully we can organise friendly events like this more often... ^_^
